Summer Scenes

After a week of staying inside due to very hot, record breaking temperatures outside, we ventured out to see what is happening in our city this weekend. First stop, an art show on the grounds of our beautiful county courthouse.
Next we went to a local park to see the rose garden,
and huge trees.
Pictures cannot do these mammoth trees justice.
It happened to be the wedding day for a happy couple.
Wouldn't she be surprised to know she's on my blog!
Thanks for taking a trip around town with me!
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Glad you got out before cabin fever set in. Nice photo's, I love old court houses, always find them interesting.

LOL, the wedding, glad I'm not the only with pictures of weddings of people I don't know. Last time I was at the zoo, got a photo of the bridal party before they got set up.

I got married outside, and so always enjoy seeing folks getting married out in nature.

Wow... the picture of that tree is amazing. Can't imagine how much more amazing it would be in person!

I hope the photographer she paid did as good of a job as you did. The picute of the bride alone is beautiful. Sort of reminds me of another wedding of two parents of a dog and two cats that is coming up real soon.

Beautiful post! Those roses look good enough to eat! (Not that I'd do that or anything.... especially if I was on-lead and Mom said, "Nonono!")
Play bows,

You are so lucky to live in a town like that! My wish is to live in a small seaside town in Maine and operate a souvenir shop. Maybe after I make my millions on the Internet, I'll be able to do just that;)
