Summer Fun!

The current EtsyBloggers blog carnival hosted by Storybeader asks

"Have you been playing this summer? Did you go on vacation, or stick close to home? Let's see some photographs!".

Well, we first thought the only thing we did this summer was blog and work but after further thought, we did do some fun things this summer. Here's a look at some of our summer fun:

Although we mainly stayed around home, in April we went to San Antonio, TX and visited the Riverwalk and the Alamo. This walkway is just outside the Alamo.
We went to the beach several times.
We enjoyed the sunshine.
We went on hikes.
In July I went to Las Vegas and to see my mom and her dog Samy.
Mainly we've just been relaxing and enjoying the warm (not the hot) summer days!
We are enjoying our summer and hope you've had a great summer so far too!

We went on vacation and square danced (hee! hee!). Had lots of fun getting away, although the kitties didn't think that was such a great idea. Grace left a little message of her disapproval in my suitcase before we left. I got the stinky "message". She's happier now that I'm home.

I have a feeling Sadie wouldn't care where she walks, as long as she goes on a walk. Looks like a pretty fun summer to me.

These are great photos today - the cats say that they've been enjoying the summer in the same way as Isabella and Angel (they like having the windows open!) We always like to stay in town in the summer because it is so uncrowded - but that will be over in about 10 days!

San Antonio is one of my destination places - never been there before. Looks like a beautiful place. Glad you got "out of town" for a bit, and visited your mom, too! Thanks for participating in the Carnival!
