Bed Monster

Every so often the beds in our house are taken over by a lumpy bumpy bed monster!

This bed monster happens to be very cute too...

But no matter how cute, you need to be very careful around it...

Or it'll swallow you up before you know it!

It makes a purrfect big red bed!

I'm thinking it should stay out all the time and NEVER leave the house again!

Getting Back to Normal...

Whew!  What a week!  We were busy entertaining our Grandpa from Kansas and then had to stay up most the night after Mommy and Daddy got back from the coast just to make sure Mommy didn't forget where the treats are.  It's been exhausting.  We've done all this work and didn't even get any toona or any of these brought home to us...

We even discovered that Mommy cheated on us with Lou from Yachats....

She spent about 10 minutes petting Lou and you can bet she thought of bringing him home but thankfully both Lou's Daddy and ours was there watching to make sure that didn't happen.  It's a good thing this guy was leashed to his beans too..

She just can't be trusted!  Anyway, we're slowly getting back to our regular schedule of eat, play, sleep...

I'm really working hard on the sleep part!

Smiles on Sadieday

It's Sadieday!  Although we miss our sisfur every single minute, we also remember the happiness that Sadie taught us to live with every day.  We wanted to share some of her special smiles with everybuddy today.  She knew the joys of a sunpuddle...

Anniversary Wishes - Flashback

Today is our Mommy and Daddy's 24th anniversary!  We tried to figure out what to post for them today but couldn't think of anything cuter than our sisfur Sadie...

Yeah, we know it's World Cat Day and we're certainly cute too but it's hard to compete with our sweet sisfur.  Don't you agree?

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday!  Our Grandpa from Kansas is still here so I'm doing my best to make sure he's comfy while he's here.  I make a really soft head rest...

Oh yeah, I sure know how to treat our guests right...

I think Grandpa is very relaxed and enjoying his time with us very much...

Nip Hangover

Hey Bella, that was quite a birthday celebration huh?  I think this was the bestest birthday I've had but for some reason, I don't remember much...

Well you're 6 now Angel so you can't handle the nip like you used to in your kitten days.  You're gonna have to learn moderation...

Okay then I'll practice staying awake in moderation...

Good thing we get wiser and cuter as we get older!

Special Sadieday Project

We've been working on a special project around here and although it's not quite ready I thought I'd give you a sneak peek...

All of us have a part in this project.  Daddy thought of it, Mommy is making it and my sisfur Angel and I are snoopervising it...

Of course I'm helping hold things down too since that's what I'm bestest at...

The project is a Sadie bracelet!  

It's made in Sadie's colors and somehow we're going to raffle it off with the proceeds going to charity.  Mommy's going to keep this first one since it's been pretty hard for her to work on but we'll make one especially for the raffle and we'll also offer one in Mommy's shop.  They'll look very similar to this...

It'll be Tortie teefs tested too! (I think this is why it's called a No-No bracelet)...

We'll show it again when it's all finished and we know how to raffle it off.  Of course we can't model a No-No bracelet as good as our sisfur Sadie did though...

Guilty By Association?

I like to hang out in the linen closet but I know I'm not the only kitty that does but for some reason Mommy thinks I'm the one who did this...

Just because I'm the one who happens to be laying beside the paper towels does not mean that I bunny kicked them to shreds.  I'm only trying to sleep here, I didn't do nothin'...

Mommy recorded me too in very poor lighting but if you listen closely you can hear me purr...

Strolling Down Memory Lane on Sadieday

It's Sadieday and since we've been a little outta sorts lately missing our sisfur Sadie, we thought we'd share some memories of her today.  Even though she was a woofie, she was the bestest big sisfur we could ask for.  When we first became part of this family in 2006, Sadie didn't know what to make of us.  The kitties who came before us, Reebok and Panther, always ran from her so she thought chase was a game all kitties played.  Well, we didn't run which confused her so much!  Eventually we taught her the ways of being a kitty such as the joys of a box...

As much as she loved doing kitty things with us, her greatest joy was strolling on Sadiedays...
