Hanging Out With Angel...

Today I thought I'd hang let you know some of the things I've found out about Angel this week. Unlike her sisfur Isabella, Angel is pretty skittish when it comes to sounds like trucks in the cul-de-sac. She's also cautious with new people (or hippos) in the house...
She doesn't miss anything that happens in the house and she can spot any fly on the wall faster than anyone. She wishes she was 6 feet tall because she's always way too short...
Angel is a Momma's Girl and likes to be picked up like a little kid and carried around on her Mommy's shoulder. Whenever her Mommy goes upstairs she either has to carry Angel up there or Angel will run really fast with her floofy tail flying and jump on the nightstand which is filled to the brim with treats. Even though she's supposed to be in rehab for the "kitty crack", she always gets one or two (or three) treats each time...
Angel spends a lot of time in the linen closet and always wants to be on a higher shelf. She gets in the closet and scratches on the door for her Mommy to come then she'll get on her shoulder and get lifted up to the next shelf. Her Daddy says she's spoiled. Her Mommy calls this "cute". I say Angel has her Mommy trained very well...
She's is a natural gymnast and is very flexible, graceful and has great balance. Also, in case you didn't notice, Angel has a LOT of floof...
When her Mommy is working, Angel hangs out on her desk and keeps an eye on her...
Angel is very sweet and only wants to love and be loved. I must admit I enjoyed the kisses she gave me...
I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about Angel!

Tortie Tuesday with Hugo!

Since it's Tortie Tuesday, I'm thought I'd let you in on some of the things I've learned about the resident Tortie Isabella. One of the things I discovered is that Isabella is very mellow. Nothing phases her at all - not even the doorbell! She also loves to lay on the couch and look out the window...
Another thing about Isabella is that she's a Daddy's Girl - totally. He calls her Bella and you can usually find her on him or beside him. She cries when he leaves (because she doesn't really "meow"). She also helps him do the sudoku in the paper every morning...
She likes to curl up on blankets or her Mommy's pillow. She also likes warm laundry and I have to admit, I like it too...
When Isabella is picked up by anyone she goes limp and they have to make sure to have a hold of her or else she'll fall backwards. Their Grandma said it's like picking up a bag of beans. Isabella also has the ability to get comfortable immediately in any position anywhere. When her Mommy is working, she wants to be held - upside down!
One of my favorite things about Isabella is that because she's so mellow, she's very, very lovable...
I hope I was able to help you get to know Isabella a little better today!

Hugo's Here!

Last Thursday night a special visitor arrived for a visit at our house. We were all there to greet him...
It was Hugo Harmony Hippo!
He lives with Amy and the House of Cats and has been traveling around to several places that you can see here and now he is visiting us after a stay with the Florida Furkids. Sadie made sure to check Hugo out...
Angel made Hugo feel welcome too. Actually I think she smelled Tamir...
We'll all make sure that Hugo has a good time here!
We already know we'll have a good time with him and with the box he arrived in!
We're sorry for the not so great quality of the photos but our pawsistant (aka Mommy) took the photos after it was dark out and then was gone ALL weekend at the craft show so was not able to make them better. If she didn't treat us so well and give us treats, we'd be taking applications for her replacement.

Have a great Monday!

Warmth (and a Sneak Peek at a Special Visitor)!

I'm spending this Sunday napping on the heater vents...
Who knew such nice warm air could come out of this thing...
Since our Grandma from Las Vegas has been here this past week, the heat has been turned up higher than ever since Grandma is used to much warmer weather than we are. I can finally have a nice, warm bath...
this is way better than a jacuzzi!
You can try to tempt me but I'm not leaving this spot...
Grandma is going back to Vegas tomorrow so I'm staying right here today...
Since Mommy's been too busy with the craft show, we haven't had a chance to mention that we had another visitor arrive Thursday night. Hugo is here! He came here from visiting the Florida Furkids so he's having trouble adjusting to our colder weather too so I shared my vent with him too...
Okay, I should really clarify that our house is usually warm, just not as warm as it is this week and it can never be too warm for me and Isabella. Our sisfur Sadie, on the other paw, would prefer we lived in an igloo!

Hope you're nice and toasty warm today!

Stroll with Sadie!

It's Sadieday and time for another stroll with me! It's been awhile since we've been on a stroll so are you ready? Well, let's go!
Today we have a special guest along for our stroll - my Grandma from Las Vegas! She's here this week to help Mommy with her craft show this weekend but of course we know the real reason she came all the way here is to go on a stroll with me!
Since Grandma lives in the desert, I'm going to show her all the fun things we have here in Oregon like the green borders on our trail...
and the bestest water puddles ever...
our pee-mail spots on fuzzy green trees...
But the best thing about Oregon is the stroll with me!
Grandma and I had a fun time on our stroll and I hope you did too!

Have a Happy Sadieday!

Thursday Treat!

Recently Mommy featured a dog bed in her Friday Features and what we later found out was not only did that shop make dog beds, it makes Oscar's Gourmet dog treats too! I was lucky enough to receive a box filled with yummy samples...
It took all the willpower I had to do this photo shoot without going for the treats...
And I don't have much willpower...
I think it's time to eat that treat!
Oh yeah, it is very tasty...
Hey Angel, I think there's something in here for you too...
Yep, there's some Tuna treats in here for you...
and Isabella...
Thank you for the samples Dina! We all loved them very much!

We hope you have a treat filled day!
