Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday! Today is another one of those days when I don't know what to say. It doesn't happen too often that I'm speechless so I'll do my best to come up with something.

Hmmm. I'm thinking really hard...

Nope. Nothing. Nada.

Today's lesson is there is not a need to ever say too much. Just be content in being. I'm quite content being me. Being in the sun with my Jelly Bean doesn't hurt either!

Chores

Today we will be wasting spending time doing chores instead of something productive such as napping. Even when we finish the chores of changing the sheets on the bed, I can't sneak in a nap because of the bed monster...

Happy Sadieday! It's been really hot this week in our neck of the woods but that's not going to stop us from going on a stroll today! So grab your water and come along with me!

Mommy's not on leash today, hopefully she won't run through those bushes!

Being out in nature there's always something new to see. Who knew deers were contortionists...

And I have no idea what he's doing now but cover the puppies and kittens eyes!

Oops, I think he heard me!

Ha roo roo! Well, I had fun on our stroll today, hope you did too!

Wordless Wednesday

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday! Today I'm going to show that cats do indeed rule the roost. I was just laying here on the couch and instead of moving me, Mommy sat down on the floor in front of the couch. Proof that we rule!

One thing I didn't think through is now her back is to me making it difficult for her to pet me and cuddle with me. Hmmm. This ruling thing didn't work out quite as planned.

I'll just have to figure out another way to display my ruling powers I guess. Any suggestions?

Is The Coast Clear?

Are the fireworks over? Is it safe to come out yet?

I'm all for a celebration but I prefer toys and treats and niptinis to fireworks. I'm just glad it's all over with - at least until next year.

Did you hide from the fireworks like I did? My sisfur Sadie doesn't like them either but Isabella could care less one way or the other. She's one of those very mellow cats that isn't disturbed by anything, not even big trucks or doorbells. She's weird.

Anyway, hope you have a nice quiet Monday!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day to all our furiends here in the USA!

We hope you enjoy your celebrations today! We'll enjoy everything but the fireworks cause they aren't so fun. We're thinking of the brave men and women fighting for our freedom around the world today and everyday too!

Yay, it's Sadieday! Time for another stroll with me! Since it's a holiday weekend with possible fireworks going off, I have to keep my mommy in the neighborhood and on a leash so she doesn't get scairt and run away but that's okay, better be safe than sorry! Anyway, are you ready? Come on, let's go!

The neighborhood trails aren't as exciting as the forest roads but hopefully some of our furiends are out walking today too...

Hey look Mommy, it's Miss Cottontail! Hope she's having a hoppy Sadieday! Ha roo roo!

And there's Mr. Deer walking on the neighborhood trails too!

It was fun seeing some of my furiends today and it's a good thing Mommy was on a leash so she couldn't chase them off! It ended up being a more exciting stroll on the neighborhood trails than I expected!

A Room With A View

There's nothing better than open windows and smelling the fresh air...

and when I get done looking out one window I can mosey on down...

and see if there's anything out this window to watch...

if so, I'll sit awhile and check things out...

then move on when the time is right...

and check out what's happening out this window...

before turning around...

and starting the process all over again.
