Monday Already...

Since we had a sunny weekend and 'tis the time of year when time and thoughts are running low, we're running a re-run from March 2010. It's still relevant since last night was laundry night!

The best seat in the house is on this hot air thingy.  It's been so cold my patootie is freezing...

The bad part is that I can hear but can't see the birdies up there...

And up there...

Oh well, not much I can do until my patootie warms up so I might as well get comfy...

Not Working Wednesday!

Mommy is leaving her job but yet she continues to work Monday through Wednesday until the end of June.  We think that's way too long to wait for her to spend every moment catering to our every need so I took issues into my own paws, er, patooty...

Yep, I'm sitting smack dab on her wrist!  

That didn't stop her from grabbing her phone and taking a photo with her left hand and it didn't stop her from working either!  Don't worry, I'll figure out another way to get her to devote all her waking hours to ME!  

We're ready for our CPA (Cats Personal Assistant) to work for us!

Tortie Tuesday

We do our part in recycling around here but yet we receive packages filled with non-environmental friendly stuff inside...

I found a solution though.  Repurpose it into a Tortie Patooty Cushion!

Pretty clever don't ya think? It's pretty comfy too!

Celebrating the Original Sadieday!

We're getting a little head start on Sadieday since today would have been our sisfur Sadie's 12th Gotcha Day!  We thought cute puppy photos of her would be the perfect way to begin the weekend so here's Sadie as she strolled into Mommy and Daddy's hearts...

She sure was a cute little baby wasn't she?

It's easier to see how small she was next to Daddy...

And here she is with our other angel sisfur KC who was 40 lbs.  Sadie grew up to weigh twice that...

We hope you enjoyed seeing Sadie's baby pictures!  They sure started our weekend off with a smile and we hope you're smiling too!

Thoughts on Sadieday

Happy Sadieday!  We hope you're having a nice Sadieday in your neck of the woods!  We finally have some sunshine after weeks of either fog or clouds so we're very happy about that!  Of course this weekend is also the Superbowl and even though our team isn't playing, we'll still be watching it with our Daddy.  Sadie always watched the games with Daddy and when our team scored a touchdown, Daddy put his arms in the air and Sadie howled!  She was a very loyal fan...

And when the game wasn't going so well, her cute face made Daddy forget all about how his team was doing...

Can you tell that her tail is wagging?  Sadie was always happy and smiling and we hope you are too!  We also hope you spread happiness and smiles around this Sadieday and always!

Baby Sadie on Sadieday

Since so many enjoyed the baby picture of our sisfur Sadie that we included in last week's post, we decided to include some more photos of when Sadie was just a little pipsqueak.  We've posted here before how Sadie came to be a part of our family back in February 2001 after being rescued from a very bad place.  Here are photos of her first day with Daddy...

We heard those squees!  Get ready for more because here's another from her first day in her furever home...

She was already showing Mommy that she liked to stroll!  Check out the cute tail action too!

At the time she was smaller than her sisfur KC but she eventually was twice the size of her at 80lbs...

Her long legs and big feets were an indication that she was going to be a big girl...  

Of course she was always a cutie!  We know this photo is blurry but Mommy just thinks it's adorable...

We hope you enjoyed seeing photos of our sisfur Sadie when she was a baby!  We still miss her every single day and even though it's been two months since she's gone to the Bridge, Mommy still looks for her every where, thinks about getting home to her when she's uptown and can't even eat apples with peanut butter anymore since she used to share with Sadie.  We're hoping she quits being so sad and smiles more since we all know that's what Sadie would want.  We sure hope you're smiling this Sadieday and be sure to spread those smiles around!

Stroll with Sadie

Yay it's Sadieday! It's been a really long week but efurrything is better now that it's Sadieday so let's not dilly dally, let's go strollin'!
Remember how on our last stroll a strange dog came charging at me? Well, on this stroll, some dog the size of my kitty sisfurs decided to join my stroll... He walked with me for a little bit but he eventually went one way and I went the other...
It sure seems like I need to keep an eye out for other dogs lately. I can't blame them for wanting to be around me since I have such a cutie patootie...
And I'm so beawootiful too...
I'm just irresistible!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed our stroll today! I'm going to give Mommy the day off from the blog tomorrow so hope you have a great weekend!

Stroll with Sadie!

Ha roo! It's Sadieday! I love Sadieday and I love strolls so this is the bestest day of the week! I'm ready to go so grab some water and let's get a move on!
The sign says the road is closed but with 4-paw drive I can go anywhere!
I don't know why this road is closed, it looks perfect to me!
It's even got some great off-roading spots too... Obviously the road must be closed just for me to enjoy on Sadieday...
And enjoy it I did and I hope you did too! Be sure to enjoy the roads less traveled in your neck of the woods!
