Happy St. Patrick's Day on Sadieday!

It's Sadieday, my favorite day of the week! It's also St. Patrick's Day so let's go on a stroll to see the greens in the neighborhood. Are you ready? Leash up your beans and let's go!
There's lots o' green here (get it, lots o' green like pots o' gold? Ha roo roo!)
Aren't I lucky to have such a cutie patootie? Whoa doggy! What the heck is this?
What do you think you are doing? You scared the beejeebers out of my Mommy and made her yell HBO words when you popped out of no where! Then you lay there like that...
Did you start your St. Patrick's Day celebration a tad early?
Well, that was quite the unexpected encounter. I can hear Mommy's heart beating still. I don't know why she got so worked up, I had her on her leash so she was okay. Wonder how to make her a little more serene...
Seeing my cute face oughta do it! I hope you enjoy some green and some serenity today (and not any strange, charging dogs)! I think I'll give Mommy tomorrow off from the blog too since she really needs the break now.

Happy Sadieday and St. Paddy's Day!
Sadie

PeeS: We don't know who that dog is and she literally came flying out of no where and was going so fast she couldn't stop and skidded by us about 6 feet. Since we didn't know if she was nice or not, Mommy yelled at her to go away and that's when she went upside down. We started walking and she followed us so Mommy yelled at her again to go away and she went upside down in the grass. She had no tags so I saw the thought process of Mommy wanting to take her home but she was so mad at her for scaring us like that she didn't. (Phew!) She did scratch her belly - she just can't resist sometimes.

ooh...I really like your blog! Wonderful post;)

I am doing a survey of bloggers, and I want to ask you a couple of questions.)
1.) How old are you?
2.) How old is your blog?
3.) Why you created a blog?
4.) How long you plan to carry it?

In the earlier, thanks!

Wow, my human would have freaked out if that had happened to her too, even though the dog turned out to be friendly. She likes to have a proper introduction to dogs so she feels safe with them. Which is pretty funny because she will go right up to any random cat in the neighborhood, and as you know, we are all fierce killing machines.

Oh my goodness! There were a million question in my head when I saw the pictures - thanks for explaining it at the bottom of your post! I wonder why she was in the park all by herself though...

Scary indeed. But it is sad that the doggie was running around like that.

I would be scared by another doggy popping out like that, too. Hopefully it didn't put too much of a damper on your walk.

oh that is scary when a strange dog comes running at you. The luck of the Irish was with you today :)

Our Mom would have been the same way, Sadie. She doesn't like loose dogs that come barking and racing at us. Makes for a not so pleasant walk. We hope the dog's owners showed up and took her home.

Everything is getting so green here too.

Happy St. Paddy's Day from all of us!

I hope that puppie's humans scooped her up - she shouldn't be running around loose like that - she might get hurt. It's the end of my day and strolling along with you has certainly put a smile on my face!

That must have been alarming to have that dog running at you! But how funny that she just flopped over to have her belly rubbed.

What an amazing shot your mom got of that dog running full-speed at you! I'm glad the dog ended up being friendly, but I hope she found her way home.

Yeowzers! That would have scared our mom, too! I sure hope that pup got home - wherever home is! Good thing your mom was on a leash, so you could protect her and all!
We loved seeing everything so green - but mostly loved seeing you!! Thanks for taking us strolling with you!

Charging dogs are scary because you never know what they are going to do. This one must have realized you were twice its size so surrendered. Since my dog was attacked, I get even more nervous than I did before when I see a dog off leash.

Oh Sadie..looking at your face would calm ANYone. YOu are so pretty and sweet.

I am so glad all turned out well and as you said, you DID have mommy on her leash after all..so there was nothing to worry about, right?

Woofers - that's scary for sure! Glad you had your bean on a leash!

That is one nice dog. Wonder whose it is? Maybe it escaped from a garden?

When dogs came charging at me, Mommy would scoop me up and carry me high...guess that's easy when I'm just 11 pounds, huh? Mommy gets very jittery when strange dogs come near me since I got bitten by one a few years ago.

Bawhahahaha! HBO words! Oh my stars that made me laugh! Well it looks like you had a nice walk despite the scare of the other dog. It's sad when other people don't take good care of their pets. That pup should be on a leash!!

Oh my goodness, I don't blame you! I'd be terrified too if I saw a strange dog with no owner running at me so fast! Sheesh...hopefully he found where he belongs.
