Weekend Wrap Up

We made sure to enjoy every moment of our weekend as we celebrated an extended Sadieday. This included all the good stuff of summer such as baseball...
Daddy watched our hometown team, the Oregon State University Beavers, advance to the finals in the College World Series tonight. Mommy watched me...
I also soaked up a lot of the summer sun...
We had summer heat yesterday so Mommy decided to stay inside and be crafty but for some unknown reason she didn't want me to help...
She painted summer inspired flowers on that canvas but they were, uh, ugly so she painted the whole canvas purple. It's now a blank purple canvas. I should've helped in the first place. Seriously.

How was your weekend?

Hope you have a fabulous last week of June!

Crafty Day

We don't normally decorate for the seasons because what comes out must go back and Mommy finds it much easier if it doesn't come out in the first place. This year though her friend, Laura, suggested a crafty day to make fun decorations. Okay, crafty and fun aren't usually in the same sentence for Mommy but she agreed. Last week they made scarecrows. Other than Laura's help with the bow, Mommy made it all by herself...
This week we knew what was going on when the crafty supplies came out so Isabella and I anxiously waited for Laura to show up...
They made a snowman on the backside of the scarecrow and I even helped Laura put the scarf on her snowman...
She was very appreciative and gave me scritches...
Hey wait a minute, chica! You can scritch me but I draw the line at kisses!
Anyway, Laura's snowman turned out super cute. Mommy's turned out to be cute too...
Full disclosure here, Laura helped with Mommy's scarf because she is clueless when it comes to working with ribbon or fabric. We also discovered that when she hot glues her thumb, HBO words are said with a leg kick for emphasis. Just sayin. Anyway, our Grandpa from Kansas will be here next week and he's in charge of hanging it up outside so all of the neighbors can see her creations.

Do you decorate for the seasons?

Have a great day in your neck of the woods!

Weekend Wrap Up

Between naps and snoopervising home projects, we got a lot done this weekend. Mommy is almost finished with her crafty project. Several peeps asked about the letters in Friday's post so here's a sneak peek...
She wants to create a gallery wall which I discovered will not be filled totally with pictures of me. Yeah, I know, what's the point then? Anyway, she thought these letters would work but the edges are not perfect by her accountant perfectionist standards. Her crafty friend told her to file the edges lightly which gives Mommy hives to even think about. Thank Cod she has me to help. I'll get started on this one...
What would she do without me? It's a tough job being so hard working but somekitty's got to do it!

How was your weekend?

Hope you have a great Monday!

Finally Friday

After we finished our tax work for the week on Wednesday (we're back to very part time again), we thought we'd get to enjoy a lazy four day weekend so we got ready for it...
That didn't last long though because Mommy decided it was time to do crafty projects she's put off forever. Of course I had to snoopervise.
Hey, is the S for Superior Snoopervisor?
Isabella's job was to keep an eye on the Birdie Network...
That's her second favorite job after holding Daddy down.

We hear there's more work for us during the weekend but hopefully there's plenty of breaks scheduled too.

Do you have any weekend plans?

Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend!

Snoopervising...

Our mommy has been working on crafty stuff this week for an upcoming show. We have to snoopervise of course...
Well, except for the times when she gets so wild we just can't watch...
She's making a huge mess because she's working with paper instead of beads. She has paper cuts on every finger but I'm keeping her on task so she can finish her projects...
See, here's some of the things she's making (she drew the cat herself but I can't figure out who she modeled it after)...
And here's a few frames too... She hasn't put embellishments on anything yet because for some reason she says she doesn't trust me after I tried to untie tighten the ribbons...
Well, since she doesn't appreciate my help, I won't be helping her with my Supermodeling skills either... It's tough being a snoopervisor sometimes. We should've just napped through it all like our sisfur Sadie did.

We hope you are appreciated today!

Something New...

I've been helping Mommy make a mess work some new crafty projects...
I help her by pressing paper that she'll be using... I also have to hold down bags while she decorates wood thingys with paper and glue stuffs (that she won't let me near) and it turns out like the pink "Love" thingy...
And of course one of the thingys has to be purple and have cats...
She's still in the learning stages but once I help her purrfect them, she'll list some in her shop. What would she do without me?

Enjoy your Monday!
