Weekend Wrap Up

For the first hot weekend of summer, Mommy and Daddy went to the coast to cool off. It was only 68 degrees in Yachats while it was 100 here at home. That, and the views, are why it's Mommy's happy place..

For some reason we didn't get any seafood or even one lonely birdie...

We got something better - a box!

It's so big and awesome - I love it! Paws crossed it makes it pass recycle day tomorrow!

A Bevy of Boxes

I may not like delivery drivers ringing our doorbell but I do like the boxes they bring...

I enjoy them as much as I can. Well, until the box bully comes...

Angel always wants to share when I'm somewhere first but when it's the other way around, she gets her floofy pantaloons in a bunch. She's weird.

One of the bestest day of the year is Box Day! We're going to celebrate all kinds of boxes today! We love flat boxes...

Tortie Tuesday

We hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend!  We sure did!  I did a whole lotta nothing and I decided that it was so good to do nothing, I'm extended that nothing through Tortie Tuesday...

In case you're wondering, this is the box that Mommy was going to git rid of two weeks ago but as you can see, she has done a whole lotta nothing too!

As we said yesterday, Chewy.com has yummy treats but they also have the bestest Tortie-sized boxes...

What's that Mommy?  I can't keep this box? What's up with that?

Apparently somemommy has a problem with a squizillion boxes around the house and says they gotta go. Maybe if I pour on the Tortie charm and cute looks I can keep some of them...

I happen to think the pepper one would be perfect in the kitchen.  Don't you?

It's Tortie Tuesday!  I have discovered what is meant by "big box" stores - it's a store with really BIG boxes!

I'm not even taking up half of this box and it has handles making it a mobile box too.  Isn't it pawesome?

This is the bestest discovery ever!  All kitties should have a BIG box from a big box store!

It's no secret that my little sisfur Angel and I love boxes. When we get a new box in the house, we have to sit on it to stake our claim and make sure no box snatcher comes to take a purrfectly good box to the recycle bin. This happens so often that we are have our stake out routine down pat. First we look for box snatchers to the right...

Then to the left...

Then straight ahead.

Uh, Isabella, just exactly why are we doing this when no one can snatch the box with us sitting on it anyway?

Sometimes little sisfurs should be seen and not heard.

Tortie Tuesday!

Happy Tortie Tuesday! I was just laying here in my box thinking about all the turkey we're going to get in a few days.

And I'm also noticing that my box is getting a little snug.

Maybe I shouldn't eat so much this Thanksgiving. Nah. I'll just get a bigger box!

Serene Sunday and Catching Up (Still)

We sorta overdid it yesterday by playing race track all over the house and playing in boxes and with paper and, well, you get the picture.

So today, we are going to rest ALL day long! Before we do, we need to acknowledge some awards that we got hundreds of years ago - our bean help is very, very slow. We're still behind but hope to get caught up soon!

Queen of Something...

My sisfurs may not know it but I am the Queen of the House! Well, at least the Queen of Mommy's Desk! I have a really neat box throne from which I can sit up tall and look down on my subjects.

I just noticed that my furs need to be brushed. A Queen should never look so mussed up. Being Queen of Mommy's Desk is exhausting!

I hearby proclaim it to be naptime!
