Stroll with Sadie!

It's Sadieday so time for another stroll with me! It's been raining a lot around here lately but I was able to get in a stroll anyway. Wanna come along with me? Let's go!
Today it seems we have the trails to ourselves.
Wonder where everyone is? They must be home resting after ringing in the new year.
I hope you are all rested up from any pawtying you did on New Years Eve! I think I'm going to go in and rest now myself. Thank you for coming along on a stroll with me!
Hope you have a great Sadieday!

Oh Sadie thanks for taking us on your stroll with you. That sure is a pretty place to go for a walk. We all stayed home New Years eve. Our old lady mom likes to go to bed early. Don't tell her we said that.

Abby got to walk through the snow yesterday. Had lots of the soft fluffy white stuff--she loves it! Gerard was freezing!

A stroll with you would be much better than taking one here today. We're getting snow and lots of it

Was that a chilly stroll today? The smile at the end says it wasn't a problem. The wind is so violent here today, I don't even want to go outside!

Tell your humans that a nice yellow leash would look so nice against your furs - even a bright blue like your tags - just sayin'

Hi!
I think I need your advice.
A cat shelter in Sweden was completely destroyed in a fire on New Year's night. About 25 cats perished in the fire, and about 25 were resued by fire-fighters and survived. An unknown number of cats ran away into the woods and may not survive. The 25 cats that were rescued from the fire are homeless again, and live together in a house on a farm. Their supply of food was destroyed in the fire.
To earn money they are having auktions on "Tradera", which is Sweden's counterpart to "E-bay". Local people have been asked to donate catfood at depots at certain grocery stores.
I have written about this tragedy on my blogs and participated in a "PhotoHunt" inspite of the fact that I only have on shot at the photo and I have not sleep at all the night before. Just to get people to notice this event. A handfull have said tht they would like to do something, perhaps donate a little money.
There is an account where donations can be paid, but I am wondering what would be the best way of sending money to these people at the Cat shelter in Sweden. Not for me, I am here, but in case someone who lives in the US, and would like to send a gift of a small sum of money. don't want bankfees to "eat" the donations up!
Do you have any experience with this?
Best wishes

It's starting to snow again here, way too cold for rain. Glad you enjoyed your walk. I thought about going for one..you know we all need the exercise after all the holiday eating; but too cold. So stayed in and went blog walking instead.

Sadie,

You look so happy and beautiful after your walk. Wish everyone a Happy New Year at your house and tell your Mom that Sophia is flattered to have such a pretty pair of earrings named after her.

I wish it would rain here instead of snowing - it's bitter cold. Happy Sadieday! Love, Moon

Sadie, you need to come to our part of Kansas and see all the snow we have. And more is coming too. Thanks for the stroll. We had a good rest after New Year's Eve too.
