Last Christmas I got a new double-wide Super Scratcher which I love furry much. Well, Mommy says it's time for my old single-wide ones to go cause she thinks they look shabby and are worn out. Can you believe that?
I've got these broken in just the way I want them and I still use them a lot so they're not worn out. See...
Can I please keep my single-wide scratchers Mommy? Purrty please?
The cute look works efurry time!

Such a happy looking pussy cat.
Oh yes, furry cute!
My mommy wants to throw away my old scratching post too :(
She sure does look like she doesn't want to give it up (but then again, sometimes it's those old worn our toys that are the hardest to part with :o)
They look fine to us. You've got the right idea Angel...pour on the cute and you'll get anything you want! *wink*
Aww, hopefully your mommy will let you keep them as long as you still use them. It doesn't look all that bad to me.
It looks pretty good to me. Maybe Mommy will show you a new one and then you can decide.
Your scratchers are well loved!!
That scratcher looks just fine to us. Just keep lying on it and so she cannot take it away. You sure are a cute kitty cat. Keep giving her your cute look.
That look would work on our Mom too, Angel!
Those scratchers look just fine to us!
I meant to look for those last time I was at Pet Smart. I'm wondering if my kitties would like to have one.

Awww, come on! That look always gets me. Worked with my kids too!
They looks wonderful to us :-)
Lovely post !!!!
If it's not broken, don't throw it out - if it works keep it - silly humans
FURRY cute picture! And we agree with you...if it's not broken...
Oh Angel...how could she say no to a face like that :)
You make your point so clear, Angel, especially with that "cute look!"
I think someone is very very spoiled. Not like any of the cats around this farm. snort
So cute the way you work on your scratchers while lying down on your side.
I think it is good for the environment to keep using your scratchers till they are totally falling apart. I didn't know that double wide ones were available. Unfortunately, being without my claws I don't know the joys of a scratcher.
I don't get that weird human thing either, where they always want to throw out perfectly good things that are just broken in. Your single wide scratchers look fine to me.
Pouring it on a bit thick, ain't ya? Who could resist such a purrty face like yours, Angel?
Does your Mommy know that the military is having a hard time feeding their canine helpers over seas? saw it in the paper...
You have the cute down pat, Angel!
Cheers!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Sadie!
We like our older toys better too. We will have to try that look on Mom.
Woos, Phantom and Thunder
aww, the worn-out scratchers would have to stay if my sweeties gave me such a cute protest! lol! :)
my, i love your posts so much! they are so funny & cute!
Right there, Angel. You've worked so hard to get it into shape, you should be allowed to keep it!
It's hard giving up our old favorites!
We can see you really like your scratcher. Tell Mom sometimes more is better.
We just read about Sadie, we hope she is doing well. We are sending purrs.
Sure, give her the cute and adorable look and you'll always get your way. I wish you could come over and teach Ace how to use his scratching pad. He prefers the upright scratching post which he uses...sometimes.
Oh, WHEW! I was worried for a minute there! Thank goodness you pulled out a REALLY REALLY cute "cute look"!
Play bows,

Who could resist such a pretty kitty? Not me! Love, Moon
My cats LOVE those darn things!! We like to get new ones though because the catnip smell is much fresher then!
We think those scratchers still have a little life left in them!!
Angel, you're just so dang adorable, no wonder Mommy cannot resist your requests!
We like our "double wides"...so give em a chance and maybe she can put your "broken in" single wides out of the view of those they bug, right!
