Happy Sadieday! Come along on another stroll with me and my shadow friend Shadie! Some times Shadie can't keep up with me though and lags behind - like someone else I know.
Other times she tries to get ahead of me but anyone with a husky knows we don't like to get passed.
Usually she walks right beside me.
This week we saw a scary shadow on our hike - the Mommy Monster!
The Mommy Monster scared Shadie so she hid behind me but I wasn't scairt and continued to enjoy my stroll.
Hope the Mommy Monster didn't scare you either. Don't look now but it's right behind you!

Yeah, but the Mommy Monster can provide great shade on those sunny days when it gets real hot! And BTW, my Lena always has to be in front too no matter if we're by ourselves or with my sister's dog, she's always got to be in the lead and gets PO'd if she's not, she'll start biting on her leash.
That's a pretty scary Mommy Monster....but we weren't scaird. Momma was laughing! She loves that last photo of you Sadie, where you're laughing.

The shadow monster was really cute! I have an Eskie that refuses to heel or walk behind me, too. Oh maybe for a second or two...but she's always the "lead dog!" ha ha!
