We're going to spend today relaxing so we thought we'd share some photos of the summer scenes in our neck of the woods.

There were hundreds of butterflies up on Mary's Peak but they sure don't sit still long. This little guy eventually did though...
Summer on the coast means happy dogs!
There's lots on the Birdie Network in the summer too!
The Boys of Summer are fun for the beans to watch...
These guys are fun to watch too...
The best summer scene is us in a sunbeam!
We hope you enjoy the scenes in your part of the world today! Have a great Sunday!

Gorgeous photos! How nice of the butterfly to 'sit still' long enough for you to take that awesome pic :)

The butterfly picture is awesome. When we were kids they were everywhere, now you hardly ever see them and it's quite exciting when you do.

Very cool

We enjoyed all your photos!

You look like your summer is very enjoyable so far...we're waiting for the temps to drop below 100 and then we'll be outside again...24/7.

Great photos of the insects! I wish I could get the butterflies but they are too fast--so are my kids.
I wish they would pose long enough so I could get a cute photo like Isabella resting:)

That is a super good photo of Isabella! (I can live without the bug photos!)

Summer seems like a lot more fun than here with our heat. Love that butterfly. And Sadie looks like summertime suits her well.

How did you get such a great picture of that dragonfly? They are so cool to watch and I love the bright blue ones (almost iridescent blue).
Great action-shot of Sadie!
Hope you have a wonderful day :)

Great photos! I agree, I believe we have the same type of butterfly on our posts today. Your capture is gorgeous! I believe it is a Coronis fritillary.

Cheers!
