Observations...

I was enjoying some window whiffs this weekend when I spotted the neighbor cat, Jasper, doing unladylike things in the cul-de-sac...
She spotted me and tried to pretend she didn't do what I saw her do but I did see her do it!
See! There she goes!  Does she not know there may be kittens watching?
Hey you guys!  Come watch this!  You won't believe what Jasper's doing out in public!
Uh...she's just sitting there Angel.  What's wrong with that?
Whether inside or outside, cats are just weird...
But at least they always put on a good show!

Hope you have an exciting day!

Happy Sadieday!

I'm so happy it's Sadieday and especially happy it's April so that I will be able to take my mommy on lots of walks once she's done with all those tax returns. Now she says she's too busy for many walks - blah, blah, blah. Whatever. Oh well, I won't let her put a damper on my Sadieday and today we're going to tour my yard and I'll show you how I watch out for neighbor cats. I always sniff for cats when I go out on my deck...
If there aren't any to chase off up here, I go down to my yard and sniff around there too...
Always take the time to smell the flowers!
I think I hear the neighbor dogs out in their yard too...
It's important to compare notes on any neighborhood introoders...
The yard seems secure from any unwanted neighbor cat or squirrel...
My work is done here so let's go in for treats!
Hope you have a treat filled Sadieday too!

Another Introoder?

What is happening to MY front yard? Is there a sign out there that says "Cats welcome here"?
Remember how I told you about the neighbor cats Dooney & Bourke introoding on MY property? Well, they obviously put out a memo about MY property because you see that?...
It's their big sisfur Jasper!
She is looking so comfy and cozy on MY rocks that Mommy thought something was wrong with her so at first I was a little concerned but only because Mommy was concerned. After carefully watching her breathe, and seeing her move, my concern was gone and once again I had to contend with an introoder on MY property! I mean, can she feel any more at home?
I was asked on my last post if I bark at the introoders and no, I don't bark at them - I only bark when a human walks up my driveway and especially up to my front door. I do chase the introoders when they come into my fenced yard but so far I haven't caught them yet - they are quick little brats. I don't chase my little kitty sisfurs even when they tempt me by running by me like their tail is on fire. Why do cats do this? Did they suddenly remember they have to be somewhere else and must get there at warp speed? Anyway, I need to get back to watching for introoders...

Hope you have a relaxing, non-introoder filled day!

Spending time with Sadie!

Okay, there have been way too many days of cats on this blog so today I'm taking over! We're going to spend time in my backyard that is just for me!
Since there are no cats allowed in my yard, I always have to make sure the neighbor cat isn't hiding out in these bushes. She has a bell on her collar so is pretty easy to find.
What Mommy? What are you wanting me to notice?
Oh, yeah I see that your flowers are coming up already! I'll try not to walk all over them this year.
Once again, Mommy stops and takes a picture of the view. Boring!
My friend, I.O., lives on the other side of this fence. I'll get Mommy to take his picture and show you on Saturday! Stay tuned! In case anyone is wondering, these pictures were taken this week so it is true that our grass is green year round in the Pacific Northwest. Makes the winters much more bearable until it comes time to start mowing in February when it's raining all the time!
