Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday!  Have you heard the saying 'turn lemons into lemonade' or 'turn mousies into mouse pie'?    They mean to take something not so good and make them into something really good.  I'm putting these sayings to the test these week.  There are strangers in our house for the next 3-4 weeks doing some remodeling so that means we're stuck inside Mommy's office.  So, I might as well figure out a way to turn it into something good.  At least I can stretch a little...

And sit my Tortie patooty on crinkly paper...

Hmmm, I'm already running out of ideas...

I think it's going to be a really long 3-4 weeks...

Maybe we should get started on that mouse pie!

Hope you have a Happy Tortie Tuesday!
Isabella

I get the sneaking suspicion that you and Angel are going to deal with this confinement a lot better than we would over here!

There's always bird TV.

Somehow we don't think your Mommy would relish making that mouse pie. MOL.

Your mommy needs to put a bird feeder in the yard. Or get a bird calling whistle thing.

We hope we get to see pics of the renos! There will be lots for you to check out after it's all done, we imagine. :-)

In the meantime, a bird feeder outside that window seems like a great idea to us!

Mom says we may have to endure something like that too, only we might have to go to the dreaded kennel - IF the humans ever get started on the major overhaul at our home.

Good luck to you, Angel, and your Mom and Dad with all that work.

Kitties don't like strangers in the house so mommy has put you in a safe place. That and you can't get outside with all the doors open more than not. I so remember.

When the work is all done you're going to have to inspect everything you know.

Have a purrfect day Isabella. My best to your mom. ☺

Oh Isabella, how about a nice long 3 week nap. But it looks like you might have a few things to do. Sending lots of purrs that you make it through the three weeks.

3-4 weeks Goodness that is a long time to be stuck in one room...So what's being remodeled? Kitchen???

Its better to be in one room when there are strangers. I had to do it when there was new windows a few weeks ago but you are doing it for a lot longer. You will have to snooze a lot. There must be a lot of work going on. Take care. Hugs GJ xx

I'm glad that you're adopting this attitude about a tough situation!

Good luck with everything! I know having strangers around isn't exactly fun. I'm sure you'll come up with plenty to do in Mommy's office :)

I hope everything goes OK. If your mom is anything like ours, be prepared for her to stress out a bit. Have a couple extra cute poses ready to help soothe her!

I hope these next few weeks are much easier for you than the past few weeks have been Sharla! And I hope the extra kitty attention makes it all the more fun! :) xo!

Well at least it sounds like you have all the essential luxuries in there. Hope those remodeling people don't make too much noise and interrupt your nap time

Oh Isabella! We feel for you! We hate when worker guys come into the house and make lots of noise! We hope your mom gives you lots of treats to make up for the inconvenience.

Do they let you out to inspect the work when the workers leave at night? When we put the addition on years ago, that was Grace's favorite part of construction!

Hmmm...well we will have to start sending you ideas to entertain yourself. Extra bird feeders at the window for the feather channel may help?
