I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend since my weekday napping has been disrupted due to being locked in Mommy's office while strangers are here. Instead Mommy put me to work helping her pick out a new paint color for the guest bedroom...
After I gave her my suggestions she bought paint samples and put them all over the room. After priming and painting the new human litterbox she remembered how much she doesn't like painting and changed her mind about painting the guest bedroom.
Uh, Mommy, I don't think the patchwork look is gonna work here...

Uncle Sammy was such a cute dog! I'm sure your mom isn't going leave the patchwork spotches on the wall. Painting gets old real fast, but I'm sure she'll get a second wind and tackle that guest room too.
But that would mean you have to stand there all the time, Angel! We think your Mommy will just need to roll up her sleeves and start painting!

Painting can be very zen after a while. Since I did the entire yurt myself I had to learn to like it. Those reds and raspberries take 4 coats!

Picking colors is never much fun. But our Mom enjoys painting walls, it's just that Dad doesn't like her on ladders any more:( Hope you can figure out some pattern to all those colors, maybe a patchwork would be good - BOL. The Momster here is going nuts with granite and tile selections.

We only like seeing you, Angel! But the mom says she loves to paint...and if she lived closer to you, she'd come over to help. She's a little crazy, we know. :)
Allz we can say is at least your mum had the good sense to paint small areas to test first. Unlike our mum who painted the entire wall before she decided she didn't like it and then have to repaint it. And she calls ME a goon!

Ahahaha. Kitties are always so good at supervising! My mom was trying to sit outside and enjoy some sunshine while reading over the weekend and my sister's cat (an avid reading supervisor) sat on the other side of the glass door and watched the entire time my mom read outside!
The patches could be a great conversation starter on a slow night...or just a reminder of tax season.
