After working so many hours for so long, Mommy is lazy takes awhile to recoup after tax season. She looks forward to not having anything she has to do (besides cater to us) and catching up on the piles of magazines and paperwork that's stacked up since January. She likes to read while lounging in bed and our sisfur Sadie always knew this routine and made sure nobuddy bothered her...
Sadie tried to teach me how to be vigilant to make sure Mommy could rest. I learned how to hold her down but have trouble with being vigilant...
Anyway, practice makes purrfect so I'll keep on practicing and one of these days I'm sure I'll make Sadie proud! I'll certainly get plenty of sleep trying!
Whatever routine you are doing this Sadieday, we hope you do your best! As always, keep a smile on your face and spread those smiles around! Smiles are certainly needed after the events of this past week.
Enjoy your Sadieday and have a great weekend too!

Isabella, if you lie right on top of your human, then it does not matter if you are awake or not. Binga uses that technique all the time.

PeeEssWoo: Happy Angel Sadie Day!!!
That is a hard job to do. I'm sure with practice you will become great at it . . . or, maybe not. zzzzzz
With the training you got from Sadie and practice I know you'll make her proud and do an excellent job.
Enjoy your Sadieday
Oh too funny Isabella. You are just a little shy of being a good watcher. But we bet that Mom behaves and is safe anyway. Love the pictures of Sadie. We miss her too. Take care.
I'm smiling because I finally got my pups back yesterday! I'd missed them while I was gone. It was bath day and then it rained a bunch, so the am dog park visit turned them into mud monsters in need of a second bath! They had lots of fun, though.
You're doing a great job Bella. I'm sure Sadie is proud of you :)
your two furbabies just make me smile :) Always love a picture of Sadie! and Isabella is sure trying to 'hold down the fort' :O
It's going to be a beautiful Sadieday here in Arizona! Enjoy your lazy day!
You are doing a great job of holding mom down. She won't try to get up with you there.
I'm sure Sadie knows you are doing your best Isabella! Have a great weekend ladies. ♥
Sadie is proud of you Isabella. I just know she is. You're protecting mom just fine.
Have a purrfect Sadieday. My best to your wonderful mom. :)
Isabella, somehow we think that Sadie is very happy that you stay there all snuggled with Mom. The watchful part will come with time. Meanwhile we are sure that Sweet Sadie is watching from above.
Happy SadieDay.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, erm what did you say?
We think your technique will work too, Isabella. There's no way your Mom can go anywhere with the way you are holding her down. :)
We know Sadie's very proud of you, Isabella!
Oh so sweet - All of you!
It was such a rough week, wasn't it? I'm glad that they caught those two bad guys and hopefully those in Boston can rest and heal now. So many sad stories from that event--I pray for them all.
Your mom deserves a long rest, Isabella. And you're doing a good job making sure she does.
You've definitely got the napping part down. Vigilance is not usually something we cats do very well unless we are watching over our foods. So, good luck! Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
I just wrote some cheques to pay my taxes ...and man, did that tire me out...and also, emptied out my bank account..... sigh.....think I'll go to bed now.....
Just keep right on practicing Isabella! We think practice makes perfect!!
You two are absolutely adorable protectors, even if one gets a little snoozy.
Bella, I had the best Sadie Day in a LONG time, fanks you. xoxox
Hello, kitty-cat friends! Your sister Sadie sure was a beautiful girl! My brothers have told me all about her and she sounds like just a wonderful puppy!
I explored my new back yard and now I'm snoozing!
Camo!
PS: Sorry we've gotten all behind leaving comments. For some reason, my mom said we're a little busy. I have no idea wh---oh, what's Zim doing? I have to go see!
Keep practicing, ladies! Practice does make perfect.
Kitties always make us smile!
