Boy are we ever happy it's Friday! We may have been in Mommy's office with her all tax season but that was way different than being locked in! We get out the second the front door shuts after the last stranger leaves and we do an inspection...
Not only are the strangers noisy but they're very messy!
The walls should be done today which means Mommy has to paint this weekend but at least she'll be the only one locked in the room! Hey, that means we'll be locked out! We don't like that either! No doors should be shut!

Harley doesn't like closed doors either! Tell your mommy I hope her painting goes well and those strangers can get out of your house soon!
That is very messy! We're surprised your Mommy let you walk on all that mess. Our Mommy would have kept us locked up!

Oh, all that inspecting is FUN! Grace had that job when we had an addition put on. I would sweep and clean up and she would sniff everything.
One morning, we woke up to a loud "cooing" in the new room--it was a mourning dove who flew in for her own inspection--HOW EXCITING!! We got her out, but it was pretty funny to see.

Angel, looks like you need to help Mommy clean up a little bit. Poor Angel, more locked doors. It will all be over soon and we know that Mommy wants it over too. Plus not too much longer and the taxes will be over too. Take care.

This is very worrisome to us, girls. We know our work is going to be starting soon and we need all the tips we can get. We don't know if we are going to be locked behind a door or have to actually move out for a while. Yikes - why can't the humans just leave things as they are???
