Putting It To The Test!

Last month Mommy won a contest by commenting (a lot) on Roseworks Jewelry blog. She won a $20 gift certificate to use in Roseworks Jewelry Etsy shop and her prizes arrived the other day. They were in a pretty white pouch which I helped her open.

She got a memory wire bracelet and beadwoven earrings that she likes very much!

But before she wears them, they must be cat tested and approved! The earrings are different colors which I like very much.

Angel has her own way of testing the earrings but she says they smell pretty so they pass inspection Mommy!

The bracelet is light enough to pick up so it won't be too heavy on her wrist so she can reach for our treats.

It's also flexible so we can play with it on her arm and not break it. The bracelet passes inspection too Mommy!

Thank you Ruthie for offering fun contests and for making such great jewelry for us to test and for Mommy to wear! We all appreciate it very much!

Wordless Wednesday

Tortie Tuesday!

It's Tortie Tuesday! Today's lesson is one of tolerance. You know when you are doing something that you want to do.

That is almost as good as it gets.

And someone disturbs you?

It takes a lot of tolerance to realize that some people just can't help themselves, especially with flashy boxes.

We can't control others, only ourselves so don't let them get to you! Once they go away, we can proceed with what we were doing. And now back to my nap...

Colder Days...

Colder days bring warm fires in the fireplace!

Not only are the fires warm, they're fun to watch!

Disclaimer: I know I'm really close but Mommy makes sure I don't get too close and she won't let me touch the glass. Also, I layed on the handle of the fire poker thingy before she could move it cause it's our first fire of the year and she forgot she has to move it faster. No one got burned or dirty though!

Serene Sunday

We had a busy weekend with Mommy getting ready for her very first "on her own" craft show in two weeks. She's been making jewelry and displays and noise all weekend!

We're going to try to catch up on our sleep today though.

It's my favorite day of the week - Sadieday! Today I thought I'd take you into our backyard to see some of our fallen leaves.

This is just a little pile of leaves because Daddy already picked some up but I think they can still be fun.

Happy Gotcha Day To Us!

Today is a special Tortie Tuesday in that it's my sisfur and my 3rd Gotcha Day! On November 3, 2006, we found our furever home with Mommy, Daddy and Sadie! You can read our stories by clicking on our pictures in the left side bar but here's what we looked like on that day.

And as you can tell, this is when my little sisfur Angel started using me as a pillow! She does the same thing today although she weighed only 1.6 lbs then!

We are furry grateful to be in our furever home and now have a lot of blog furriends around the world!

Falling Leaves!

I love watching the leaves fall from the trees! Not only are they fun to watch floating by my window but the less leaves there are, the more I can see the birdies!

As you can tell, I am even more interested in the leaves falling than the treats sitting beside me! Yeah, that's how much I love falling leaves!

If only I could get just a little bit closer...

I know I could catch those leaves!

Spooky Sunday

We hope you all got lots of treats and not too many tricks for Halloween yesterday! We're certainly glad the creatures are done ringing our doorbell for another year! Since it's still Halloween weekend, we'd thought we'd share some spooky scenes from our neck of the woods.
