This bench thingy serves many purposes in our house. It's providing me an extra step down from the bed via the cedar chest. It's the perfect spot for a nap in a sunpuddle...

My little sisfur loves to scratch on it so much it sounds like popcorn popping. Daddy loves when she does it in the middle of the night...

It's Tortie Tuesday, my most favorite day of the week! I know this day is all about me so I should be the one in the prime spot by the window...

But it means much more to me to see the pure bliss on my little sisfur's face...

Sometimes we get more by giving to others. By making my little sisfur happy, I'm happy. Isn't that what it's all about?

What better way to follow up my 10th birthday than with Tortie Tuesday! Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes yesterday! I appreciate them and they helped make my birthday really special. My little sisfur helped make my birthday special too by letting me have the box Mommy brought home from Costco...

Since it's my special day I thought I'd show you some of the special treatment I get around here. As you know, I went to the vet each of the past two weeks. It's traumatic enough for me to go since I get so car sick but when I come home, my little sisfur hisses and bops me with her big floofy paws. To keep the peace, Mommy moved one of our cat trees to another open window so we'd each have our own Birdie TV. Of course, Angel has to scratch on mine to let me know she's near...

She thought about jumping up onto my tree...

But she just kept walking around stalking me...

I ignored her hoping she'd go to her own tree...

Lo and behold, she did!

It's nice to get the special treatment I deserve!

To be fair, she only hissed and bopped me for two days last week but still, that was two days too many!

PeeS: Someone suggested rubbing a towel on Angel and then on me to stop her from being so hissy. We'll certainly try that next time!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday - the bestest day of the week! As we mentioned yesterday, there's been some changes around here due to new living room furniture. The main change for me is that instead of being in a cuddle pile with my little sisfur on the couch...

Our cuddle pile is on the cat tree/Birdie TV perch...

For some reason the new couch isn't conducive for cuddling on the back plus there's two chairs that move back and forth and side to side. That certainly isn't kitty friendly! Don't worry, I'm still able to sit on or beside Daddy in his chair so all is well.  Because of that, everything is Tortie approved! Even when enjoying some alone time!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a good weekend! We helped pick out beads for a no-no bracelet for Mommy to make (we're not allowed to help with the actual bracelet hence the name no-no). Other than that, we did a lot of snuggling...

Well, one of us snuggled, the other was smooshed...

Ahhh, that's better...

It's not like there's no other beds in the house. It's a good thing she's cute!
