Yesterday we got snow that may not look like much but it was enough to cause our Daddy's minions to start texting at 5am that they'd be late for work. At 7:30am! We think they enjoy waking us up. Anyway, once it was light enough, we could see how much snow there was...
Oregonians do not know what to do with snow! I may be a native Oregonian but I was raised by an Alaskan husky so I watch the snow from an open window...
And then cuddle with a warm Tortie...
Hope you have a warm and cuddly weekend!

I can't even imagine what would happen if we got snow down where we live! I think the whole city would grind to a halt, even if it was just an inch!
Considering the amount of snow we get here it always cracks me up when I hear of places that get a dusting of snow and everything is closed down.
That snow is really pretty, just looking out the window. But we do love seeing you Isabella and Angel cuddling. You all have a super day.
A little bit of snow, like that, is very pretty, and then, happily, is gone by the afternoon. Purr-fect!
We have to echo Ann's comment, but it's what you're accustomed to. That doesn't even qualify as snowfall here, just a dusting. LOL. But we do understand how treacherous it can be when you live in a climate that doesn't get it and isn't prepared for it. Plus, if there's any black ice, well, no matter what your location, that's super-dangerous! Hopefully it all melted quickly!
It does look pretty. And you two look adorable. Have a nice weekend! XO
You two have it made. You don't have to go out and warm up the car and then drive to work. You can enjoy the snow from your window without ever getting your paws wet. Excellent.
I linked this post to Feline Friday.
Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your mom and J. ♥♥♥
I'm with Ann--I giggle when I see how little snow can shut places down. That is nothing in Chicago....sort of like a rain shower. But..people here, too, love to blame their being late or not coming in at all on snow. But, it had better be a LOT of snow to do that, otherwise your co-workers just abuse you endlessly.
We would love that snow. None here, just ice and now mud:( We bet Angel Sadie would have enjoyed that glorious white fluff.

People here in the swamps of south Louisiana do not know what to do with the snow, either. Mostly we just all stay home and play in it.
We didn’t realize Oregonians didn’t know what to do with snow. Come here..we’ll show you. :)
I replied to your comment on my post, but wanted to leave it here, as I know we don't all go back and check comments! (Who has time to do that? LOL. I've added a few more thoughts here, though!)
RE: Isabella: Can you give her a bronchodilator first, either orally or inhaled, to open her airways and make the Flovent more effective? I'm sorry she's been having more attacks. Or maybe she needs the Flovent 2x per day, AM and PM? Alternatively, what about adding in some Prednisolone for the hard winter months, to supplement the Flovent if she's not at the full dose? There ARE options, but it's finding what works for you both that can be tricky.
Is your house dry? What about a humidifier or giving Isabella some steam time in the bathroom, in the evenings before bed? If it works, you'd know it was the dry air (as I suspect it is in Nicki's case, that and increased dust or general poor air quality from everything being shut up for the winter).
I know most asthma attacks do happen at night, which certainly was the case before Nicki started on the Flovent. Sending purrs to her!
