Hope you had a great weekend! I filled my weekend with naps since I didn't sit still nap at all on Friday. I knew something was up when we started the work day in the bedroom/now home office starting at 6am. At least my crinkly paper is in here and of course Isabella is in her normal, every day spot...
A couple of hours later the door got shut and I was locked in! ALL DAY! I do not like closed doors and let everyone know it. When I wasn't doing laps around the room and across Mommy's cardboard table desk, shoulders, laptop and chair, I was trying to open the door...
The noisy stranger was being extra noisy, Mommy had a pounding headache and Isabella was, well, normal...
All I know is it's going to be a really long six weeks! Friday was so awful that Mommy would've pulled the plug on the whole remodel except it's a little too late...
Today is going to be really noisy too but hopefully it'll quiet down some although I'll still be trapped in this room every day until it's all over. I don't know how Bella can be so calm!
Hope it's quiet and peaceful in your neck of the woods!
Angel

You ladies need me to come out and jailbreak you?
Haha. Mommy can just imagine the headache YOUR Mommy must have had. We hope the 6 weeks go by quickly and that you would settle down once the noisy bits are done with.
I can't believe Isabella slept through all of that! Binga would have been begging to hang out with the worker humans to make friends and supervise.
To bad you are looked up so you two can´t help the worker´s :(
Me think´s it´s really fun to give a paw or two whenever a worker visit my home :)
XOXO
We all need to take a lesson from Isabella...she's got the right cattitude :)
Hope the remodel goes quickly and smoothly!
hope the remodel moves right along and the girls can get back to their normal routine - or at least Angel can (Isabella seems just fine!)
Oh dear, poor Angel. At least she has you and her crinkly paper. Isabella is the most mellow kitty ever!!
Poor Angel! It will be over soon, just snuggle up there with your sisfur and take lots of naps. I'm sending calming purrs to you!!
Paws crossed you all survive the reno! Nicki does NOT like being confined in a room, either, and definitely makes his feelings known, so he sympathizes!
I don't blame you for being upset - I hate closed doors too (and so does BB) - not crazy about such kinds of noises either. Are there at least windows for some birdie tv?
I hate the remodels too. I'm so sorry this is so hard on you Angel. Just be with mommy and you can comfort each other.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥
I am sorry it is so noisy Angel. Think calming thoughts
... hang in there ....... play some games... rest on that comfy bed.... eat more than your fair share of treats.. (MOMMY TOO!!) ... sing songs... swear under your breath ....
Poor Angel. We hate closed doors too but at least Mommy is in there with you. And you have your crinkly paper.Hope things get better for you. And you know it could get worse. You could be boarded at the vets. Have a great day.
Too bad Isabella can't relax. Ha roo roo roo! Just kidding - hope you CAN! I'm glad you have crinkly paper to play with. Maybe you need a box, too!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Sounds like it was a bit stressful for both you and your mom. Isabella should share her secret for relaxing with you
Angel, we SO understand how you feel. We hope the work moves along smoothly and ahead of schedule!!
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Do you get to come out and inspect the work when the noisy guy leaves? That's always the best part.
Angel, you remind me of my sisfur before me, Admiral. She detested closed doors. Me, not too sure yet as I have yet to be closed in. When the carets are cleaned on day late spring, I will know. Wanna come over?
I wouldn't like that at all either Angel! I hope he hurries up with all that noise so you can get back to normal! Try to have a good week! Maybe you can get some ear plugs? Love, Moon xoxo
Hope you get some peace and quiet soon so you can enjoy some cat naps.
We don't know how Isabella can be so calm either!
We have and continue to go through construction stuff here. We hate it as you and most kitties do. Sorry the two of you and your mom are all stuck in one room. Good luck! PURRS AND PAW-PATS, LILY OLIVIA, MAURICIO, MISTY MAY, GIULIETTA, FIONA, ASTRID, LISBETH AND CALISTA JO
Hooray for the remodel! I can't wait to see the after pictures!
I designed a bathroom for one of my friends over the summer, and during the week of construction their poor little dog was freaking out the whole time. She kept trying to "guard" the family, which was just a bunch of noise for everyone else. Haha.
