It's Tortie Tuesday! It's also Election Day which is very impawtant because it gives us a say in who is making the decisions which affect us. Here in Oregon all voting is done by mailing in our ballots or putting them in specially marked drop boxes around town. My theory of why we do this rather than having polling places is so cats can help in the voting process!
Don't tell Sadie because I think she believes dogs should be able to vote too but cats know they can be just a little too immature...

I am definitely going to participate in the demoCATic process today - while the humans go out and vote (they choose to visit their polling place here in California), we cats will play demo-derby with their stuff!

We chose to vote by mail too. It's so convenient and less hassle.

Voted last week in early voting--had hoped it would suddenly end all of the negative campaigning but no such luck. And I agree with Isabella--it is hard work!

Isabella, have we told you lately that you are so cute. We love how you are helping with the voting process. Voting is very important.
