It's Tortie Tuesday and it's also election day here in the U.S....

Wake me when it's all over...

We'll be glad when this election is over. Somemommy has been stressed for awhile now. Purr therapy has helped but we're hoping that however things turn out today, our country comes together and we can put this all behind us. More love and treats, less bickering and bullying!

Tortie Tuesday - Election Day

It's Tortie Tuesday!  It's also election day here in the U.S. so I wanted to be sure to remind everybuddy to vote.  In our state all voting is done by mail-in or drop off ballot so there's no polling place to go to on Election Day.  You know why that is don't ya?  It's so us kitties can help fill out the ballots!

I have read about the candidates and the issues very closely.  For some reason though I don't see the amendment to add National Tortie Day...

Clearly that's an oversight.  This is why it's important to vote!

And be sure to tell others to vote for National Tortie Day the importance of voting...

Now that the election is almost over, I vote we celebrate with extra treats!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday! It's also Election Day which is very impawtant because it gives us a say in who is making the decisions which affect us. Here in Oregon all voting is done by mailing in our ballots or putting them in specially marked drop boxes around town. My theory of why we do this rather than having polling places is so cats can help in the voting process!

Don't tell Sadie because I think she believes dogs should be able to vote too but cats know they can be just a little too immature...

Did you see that? She stuck her tongue out at me!

I think she's proving my point that dogs don't take voting seriously...

This voting process is so not easy around here...
