It's Tortie Tuesday! Today I was sitting here looking out the window, observing and thinking...
I noticed that often we see something that we wish we had or could do. But what we don't see is that it's often way more comfortable where we are than where someone else is sitting...
Today's lesson is to be appreciative of what you have because the seat elsewhere isn't always softer than the one you're already sitting on!
Happy Tortie Tuesday!

very good observation and wise words to live by. have a happy tortie tuesday!!
How true indeed. We've got it made here and we know it!! But it's OK to LOOK isn't it??
My arse is well padded so I don't see.... oh, you're speaking metaphorically! LOL
Those are wise words, Isabella. Oddly enough, my not-so-wise human thinks about that a lot.
You are bootiful and smart my tortie princess.
Yes! Appreciation is definitely a good thing! You're so smart, Isabella :)
Happy Tortie Tuesday!
You are a very pretty & very smart Tortie!!! Have a great day!
What a wonderful post, Isabella! It is good to realize how lucky we are to have such warm homes.
Nor as safe!!! Get off of the road sweet little out-door kitty!!!
xo Catherine
Isabella, you are a wise girl besides being Tortilicious. I'm glad you said that. We kitties need reminding sometimes when we rush to do something without thinking it out.
Bonks and purrs, you beautiful girl you.
That is a great way of putting it Isabella. You look nice and comfortable. Another saying that we have is "The grass is not always greener on the other side of the street" We all need to enjoy what we have.
What a beautiful lesson, Isabella! And so true. I think true happiness is being content with what you have at that moment. Thanks for the sweet reminder! :)
Quite deep thoughts, Isabella. Yes, that kitty's but is not as comfy as yours where you are sitting. And it's maybe starting to get chillier, so you have a nice warm house.
That's a pretty wise word there Is :) We should always be thankful for a warm home and good food... :) happy tortie tuesday girlie.
Those are furry wise words! And that is one cute outside kitty.
This is so true, Isabella! Our mom says you should come over and try to teach Franklin this - he always wants someone else's spot (but he's still cute!)
I really needed to read this. We are back in North Carolina, where we used to live, and I am visiting old friends, seeing my old house, and feeling a little sorry for myself that we left. I have to remember the wonderful blessings that moving to Texas has given us.
This post really helped me a lot.
so.. thanks.
:)
Isabella...you and I are very much alike :) I always try and look at the glass half full and realize what a lucky girl I am :)
A valuable lesson for pets and Life!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Sadie! Great message!
Hi Isabella, that is all so true. We all have to appreciate what we have and not worry about what the other animal or person has. Just be grateful to have a place to sit. Great pictures.
That is too true. It is something I need to remind myself often.
Isabella, you are wise beyond your years :)
I couldn't agree more, Isabella. Very profound words - and very wise!
Tail wags,
Storms
Very smart message - we often hear it said - be careful what you wish for:)

Very good lesson for the day Isabella. It's very true that the grass isn't always greener, I think it's just the way the light hits it :)
Very wise, indeed! I know my little front porch kitty visitor sure wishes he could be inside chillaxin on something comfy!
Verreh true, Isabella. We all came in from the Outside after being Abandoned, and we need to remember that alla us kitties don't have it so good.
You are so right, Isabella! And just think of all the wonderful things you can see from that comfortable inside seat!
You are so wise, Isabella...you've got it so much better in the inside!!
Yousis so truesis!
Forrest and Pal
that's the truth, Isabella! {:-D
Is that your neighbor kitty Isabella? That doesn't look very comfortable - I'd rather be inside too - where it's safe and warm! Love, Moon
