Mommy growed us this wheat grass in a pot. First of all, you'd think since Mommy is from Kansas she'd know this doesn't look like wheat.
And secondly, isn't grass something that cows eat?

NOTE: Since so many are asking, we loved the grass! We don't eat much at one time so haven't had any problems with it coming back up, as some have pointed out in the comments. Turns out we are more like cows than we thought, we graze on it every now and again!

I know many, many cats love grass. I refuse to try even a single blade.
So, did you nom it all up? We prefer grass grown in the yard to potted grass. It must be something about going out to find it ourselves.
My momma let me grow some kitty grass too! I ate a WHOLE BUNCH of mine (it was so good)....
but then later I barfed in the floor.
Momma didn't get mad though.
maybe when their tummy's hurting, they'll eat it!
I like some salad in my diet!
I tend to be more of free range grazer!

My cats have always LOVED cat grass, good for you for trying it! There is only one problem...it is addictive! Once they get a taste for it, you need to keep growing it, lol. It is a great way for them to get their greens, especially in winter.

We like our grass! We don't eat too much to make our tummies sick so the grass is just a yummy treat for us.

Kitty Grass = festive barf here. We love it, but we leave it all over the house and then go after the NON-kitty plants.

You are right, does not look like wheat at all! But, it is good for you nonetheless and I know Mommy gave it to you out of love. If I did not have so many, they'd all be house furbabies too!

My kitties love this stuff--it disappears quickly if i have it around--unfortunately, they don't get ot have it anymore since 3 of them are on controlled diets to protect their kidneys--it makes them very sad not to chomp on grass anymore
What is it about cats and grass? My cat loves grass as well! However he often brings it back up!!!
I'd definitely munch on that if my mom grew it for me. She grows the occasional basil or mint plant that are yummy to nibble on, too.
