It's Our 4th Gotcha Day!

Back on November 3, 2006, my sisfur Isabella and I were Gotcha'd by Mommy and Daddy and brought to our furever home with them and our big sisfur Sadie! Isabella was almost 10 months old and I was a tiny 3 month old kitten...

My sisfur Sadie didn't know what to think about us...

Maybe it was because I thought her water tasted better than ours...

Isabella has always taken such good care of me...

She's still my snuggle buddy today...

My big sisfur Sadie is my buddy too...

Oh Noes, the Big Red Box!

The Big Red Box with wheels is out! Do you know what this means Isabella? Mommy thinks she's going somewhere again!

I'll hang on to it so she can't go anywhere!

I've got it and I'm not letting go!

You know, you could help rather than just sitting there like a bump on a log Isabella.

We don't want Mommy to leave but she's going to Colorado which means tax season is almost over! We're lucky she gets to work from home with us all year except this one week when she has to go back to the office to work and to go to some big party on the 15th. At least Daddy will be here with us!

We'll miss you Mommy!

2) Okay...so you don't want to show your face...show us your studio instead. Where do you create? Do you like it/want something different? What is your favorite part about where you create?

Mommy doesn't have a studio, she creates jewelry on the dining room table, and she prefers to be behind the camera so she didn't know what to do for this blog carnival. To help her out, we decided to post this picture of Isabella with Mommy in the background. But don't tell her we posted it because she does not want her picture on the blog!

She also doesn't like to talk about herself so we'll tell you a little about her. Mommy is a CPA (Cat's Purrsonal Assistant although she pretends it means Certified Public Accountant) and she works from home which we like very much. Mommy also loves animals very much and her dream is to one day start an organization that helps find homes for pets when their owner has a terminal illness or other health issue that doesn't allow them to care for their pets. In these situations, the owner would hopefully be able to help in the process of choosing their pet's new home so they can be at peace with knowing they will be in a loving home once they no longer can care for them.

She'd also help find homes for pets left behind after their owners have passed away from other causes and no one is left to care for them. She got the idea after reading about a local woman who was killed in a car accident, leaving behind her cat. Although the woman was married, the cat and her husband didn't get along so he didn't want to care for the cat. Pets mourn the loss of their loved ones too so Mommy wants to help them find a furever home where they will continue to be loved like before.

Besides all that, she'd love to own many acres in the country where she could give furever homes to many homeless animals so they could experience the love they deserve like we do. So cross your fingers that she wins the lottery someday so she can do everything she wants to do for animals plus buy an endless supply of Temptations for us!

An Award for Mommy!

Mommy is still on vacation but we wanted to surprise her by posting an award she got! Duni from Lovely Purses and Becca from Purrprints sent this award our way and our mommy is certainly very deserving of it! We think she is the best cat mom ever! (Sadie thinks she's the best dog mom too!)

We know that Mommy would do anything in the world for us but she loves all animals and does what she can to help other kitties and woofies too. Last Friday, while on vacation and in the middle of a thunderstorm, Mommy and Daddy were driving on a country road in Texas and came around a curve and saw a little dog standing in the middle of the road. She told Daddy to slow down and the dog came running towards them so Mommy jumped out of the car which caused the dog to come running towards her. It was a little terrier type dog who was very scared but wearing a collar with a rabies tag so Mommy called the vet and was told "oh, that's Sally, she gets out all the time." The vet's office called the owner but there was no answer so they gave them Sally's address and Mommy and Daddy took Sally home and Daddy put her in a fenced yard with goats. It didn't matter that Mommy (and Daddy) were soaked from the rain, covered in mud and smelled like wet dog the rest of the day, she was happy they saved Sally from certain harm on that busy road.

We love Mommy very much and can't wait until she (and Daddy) comes home tomorrow!
