Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a good weekend! We spent ours holding Mommy down because she's sick...

She came down with a cold on Thursday and Daddy thinks it morphed into a Man-cold because she's so whiny. Whatever that means. Anyway, it's been our job to make sure she rests and stays quiet. It seems to be working because she's a little better today which means she can breathe through one side of her nose at least. Since we're on duty she'll be good as new soon!

Finally Friday the 13th

Okay, we're not superstitious about 'Friday the 13th' but we do know this has been one long week. Something has happened every day that's made Mommy cranky, discombobulated or frustrated. One thing has discombobulated me - Daddy has a cold. He spent all day yesterday in bed - in MY spot on the bed no less. I am Daddy's Girl but still, he was in my spot!

Of course he was working so his computer and phone would ding, ping or ring and he was sniffling, sneezing and coughing. How's a Tortie supposed to sleep through all that? Today he's still sick, still here but he's working upright downstairs so I have the bed all to myself. Just as it should be. Finally.
