Caught in the Act!

We were left alone this weekend while Mommy and Daddy went to garden centers. They were supposedly looking for plants and veggies so imagine our surprise when we found this photo on Mommy's phone...

One of the nurseries they went to has a cat on duty. Yeah, okay, that's fine and dandy but  apparently somedaddy couldn't resist it...

He's giving that cat OUR scritches!

Oh yeah, we totally know that feels so good...

Obviously some blissed out nursery kitty does too...

What were we doing while all this was going on? Nothing. We had absolutely nothing to do...

We're thankful they came home with only tomatoes and peppers and we both got lots and lots of scritches from Daddy! He's forgiven.

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a wonderful weekend! We had a mostly sunny weekend which meant our peeps started cleaning up the yard. This can't be done without my snoopervision...

I meowed lots of direction and of course Mommy answered me back. Daddy is sure the neighbors wonder what kind of weeds are actually growing in our yard. Anyway, it was tiring work so I spent the evening cuddling with my sisfur...

Daddy took that picture of us and he was under the impression we'd look at him if he made funny noises. Uh, yeah, no.

Sadieday in the Garden

On Thursday we told you how we busted Mommy for cheating on us with the introoder neighbor cats and we got to remembering how we never had that problem before our sisfur Sadie went to the Bridge.  She was always kept an eye out for introoder neighbor cats in her yard...

She also kept a close eye on Mommy...

Those two photos were taken two years ago this past week.  The garden has grown up just a little bit since then and we've added our kitty touches...

And we've always had the kitty bird bath but we added the kitty on a bike wind thingy last year...

But no matter what we add, we will always have a reminder of our sisfur Sadie right in the center for all to see...

It's nice to remember those we love and have lost and we also need to remember to smile today and every day because you will certainly brighten someone's day!  Be sure to spread those smiles around!

I'm so glad it's Sadieday!  I'll be sure to get a stroll in later but first I'm going to help Mommy plant some flowers.  She is not much of a gardener so since my Siberian Husky friends, Zim and Dave, from Kansas are such good snoopervisors gardeners, I thought I can do that since I'm a husky too.  Uh, Mommy, I'm pretty sure this flower has bloomed its last bloom...

This geranium has been in the garage since last fall but whaddya know, there is something green growing again...

Okay, go ahead and put that half dead miracle plant in another pot, put the new plants in the hanging planter and while you're doing all that, I'll keep watch out for neighbor cats...

You sure are making a mess on my deck Mommy.  Do you need help playing in the dirt?  Ha roo!

Hey, you followed directions pretty good Mommy!  Who says beans aren't trainable?

I think Zim and Dave were right - huskies do make great snoopervisors gardeners!  Huskies also enjoy strolling so we'll get all cleaned up and go on a stroll and hope you get a chance to do so today too!
