Weekend Wrap Up

After last week's fireworks, I had a relaxing kind of weekend...

Isabella and I were home alone on Saturday when the peeps went to Mommy's happy place again...

Yesterday they went hiking in the forest just outside our town...

We hear it was a peaceful hike until somemommy screamed when she came within a foot of stepping on a snake stretched across the trail. Snakes give her the eebie jeebies and apparently they give those around her hearing loss. Just sayin.

Stroll with Sadie!

Yay! It's Sadieday! I've been waiting all week to go on a stroll so let's not dilly dally and get a move on! Come on, let's go!

I just love checking out all the smells each time we go out in the forest so I know you see a lot of my cute patootie...

But Mommy has been trying to get me to look up more so you see my cute face too. I tried but the sounds made my ears turn towards the trees...

And the smells are just so tempting they pull my nose towards the ground...

Even when I can bring my nose up, the sights divert my eyes to the weeds...

It's sure a lot of hard work looking at the camera but it was worth seeing my cute face wasn't it?

Yay it's finally Sadieday! Yeah, okay, every day is Sadieday to me but now that Mommy is working so much doing tax returns, today is extra special since instead of working she's strolling with me! Do you want to come strolling with me too? Well then let's go!

It's always fun to discover new things on our strolls and it appears we're coming up to one of those fun discoveries now...

Mommy, you stay back while I investigate...

My 4-paw drive could go over the ice on this bridge but it's probably not safe for you to cross since you're rather, uh, clumsy Mommy...

As much as I would've liked exploring on the other side of the bridge, safety is more impawtant so we'll just turn around and head back to safer ground...

Sadieday Field Trip!

Yay, it's Sadieday! What better way to spend my favorite day of the week than by doing my favorite thing - going on a field trip! Are you ready? Let's go!

We're out in the forest with a whole bunch of fun smells and fuzzy trees...

Oh yeah, there's quite some interesting smells on this fuzzy tree!

This ice smells much better and feels really good on my feets too...

I'm having so much fun I could stay out here all day long!

But there's more to explore and some off roading to do too...

Before it's time to head back home...
