Our week has been much better than last except that Mommy went to the eye doctor yesterday to find out why her right eye is blurry and hurts as the day goes on. Turns out she has keratitis because of dry eyes and the doctor said her cornea looks like stained glass. Yeah, nice. Anyway, she has drops and ointment and was told to rest her eyes. Since she still insists on working, I'm making sure she takes plenty of breaks from staring at screens filled with tax documents by offering myself for scritching...

I know about the dry eyes. I do drops in each eye twice a day and have for years. Oh joy.

Good kitties to be helping Mom. Our Dad has keratitis and has to use drops during the day and an ointment at night. Staring at that computer screen doesn't help either. Tell Mom to do a lot of blinking:)

Aw, your poor mom. Take good care of her and make sure she rests those eyes.
We sure can relate to this post! Mama has Sjogren's Disease which causes really DRY eyes and dry skin. It is difficult when we are staring at screens so much! The prescription drops are over $400 a month so we use over the counter but we sure do go through a LOT of them! The ointment helps too. Not fun. Good Luck!
