Because Mommy is a worry wart wanted to keep an eye on me yesterday*, she made me stay in the living room while she had a webinar. I thought, how bad could it be to lay on the comfy couch for two hours and nap. What I didn't know is that I'd have to listen to a man go on and on about tax stuff...
Hey, whatcha you two doing? Oh my Cod, another webinar? Bella, I warned you about those! Uh, I have important business to take care of anywhere but here! See ya!
Hope today is the beginning of a great weekend!
Isabella
*Mommy here: I kept an eye on Isabella yesterday because Wednesday night she had several asthma attacks despite receiving twice the inhaler treatment plus the cortisone shot earlier that evening. The first attack around 9pm was a high pitched squeaky wheezy sound that we've never heard before. I actually thought she was choking on a Greenies treat I had given them not long before that but she was purring and breathing fine in between this sound. Yes, I googled Heimlich maneuver for cats because I really thought she was choking! I stayed up most the night listening for her and checking on her in the dark. Thankfully she's predictable where she sleeps! She had a couple more attacks until about 3am but they were more normal sounding. I made her stay by me yesterday and she had no more attacks so hopefully this was all caused by the stress of the car ride Wednesday. Oh how I wish she didn't have to go through this. It's heart breaking to not understand what is happening and how to help her.

Although it was good of your human to keep you close by, Isabella, OMC! How torturous to have to be there through that webinar! I should send you purrs for that alone.
Guess you did make yourself better Bella, so you don't have to do any more webinars. I do hope you continue to feel better. Just a little suggestion. Can you ask the vet for a small tranquilizer for the next time you have to go?? Maybe not with all the other medicine that she takes. Sending a whole bunch of purrs.
Lots of purrs and hugs to you and your mom, Isabella. Our biped certainly understands the worry.
As for that webinar...BORING! :-P
Well, she sure looks totally cool, calm and relaxxxxed..... hopefully she will be fine..... what a sweet face ....
The Mom is just being careful...so glad you're better.
I have an idea for the both of you. Tell mommy to get earplugs and you won't have to listen about taxes anymore. That's what hubby has here and it's a wonderful invention.
I thought about your mom being up most of the night. I knew she would be with you having attacks. She's a good mom and I would have worried too.
Linking this post to Feline Friday.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥
Your mom and my mom are 100% alike when it comes to their fur babies. I rule her heart when it's just me and mommy. She would do anything to help me if I were ill. So mom and I understand about you and your mom. Isn't it wonderful to be so loved? I thought you would say that. XXooXX
You have such a great Mommy. We are purring that you have NO more bad attacks and have a calm weekend.
XOXO
Well I must say your both well behaved heheh!
Have a comfytastic weekend :-)
It is so stressful to care for our animals when they can't tell us how they are feeling... I hope this is all over soon, and things return to normal for you both!!
xoxo
If only they could talk! That webinar sounds like it was torture MOL!!!
I hate it and feel helpless when Franklin has asthma attacks, so I can understand that part. But I doubt if I could make him listen to a webinar about taxes - Isabella deserves treats for doing that!
Franklin sends many purrs (as do the rest of us).
Oh dear, our hearts go out to Mommy and Isabella. It just isn't fair that she should have to endure all of tis. We know you will all be happy once this dental procedure is done. All paws crossed for things to calm for Isabella. We understand only too well what stress can do.
Woos - Ciara and Lightning
I know your mommy is only worried about you but having to sit through a 2 hour webinar sounds like torture.
I was thinking the same thing about maybe the asthma attacks were from the stress
hoping all is ok with Isabella and a 2 hr meeting? UGH!!! Oh it was a webinar, sorry!catchatwithcarenandcody
Maybe that boring webinar made her feel worse, try putting on some classical music instead. I hear cats actually like that! It's supposed to relax them.
You needed ear plugs, Isabella! We're purring that you're feeling better now.
Hope you're feeling much better today Isabella! and getting lots of Tortie naps in
I hate that you have to go through that, Isabella! I don't just mean the webinar - I mean the asthma attacks and the shot and the impending surgery!!! You have our prayers!
Oddly enough, when my dad has webinars and conference calls and such, he shuts the door to his office, too --- but with me on the outside!!! Can you believe that?!? Think of how helpful I could be!!!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Mommy laffed and laffed as you got closer and closer in each photo...we have all our paws crossed that your teefs are taken care of UNEVENTFULLY and you're back to webinaring at 100% in no time!
I hope Isabelle is doing better- you are a good cat mom!
Mum's eyes glazed over as soon as she saw "tax" but then they unglazed at the end!! Isabella, your mom is very worried about you. I am sending my biggest megapurrs for you, sweetie xoxoxox
Tax talk for TWO HOURS ??!!
I know I would have escaped the room way earlier :)
XOXO
The final photo says it all...get off the computer now! Mom always has a tortie helper sitting right in her lap. She's there now. Hope no more asthma attacks for Isabella. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
