Although I'm a Tortie, I'm pretty sure non-Torties feel the same way about this one topic - if someone wants you to do something, don't do it. Am I right? Anyway, I was minding my own business, playing with the crinkly paper when Mommy wanted me to continue playing for a video to prove that I do play and don't just nap all the time. Well, the only thing that's moving in this video is the camera...
And yep, as soon as she was done I started playing again! Ha! If you can't see the video, click here.
Mommy is kinda Tortie like in that we want her to help us blog but it's not even the end of January and she can't find enough time in the day for everything. Because of this, we're going to let her off the hook during tax season so if she really doesn't have time to help us, we may miss a day or two of posting. We're not happy with this but it should ease some of her stress which is best for all of us. Trust me!
I hope you spend your Tortie Tuesday doing whatever you please!

Well, I can't totally say you weren't moving, Isabella - you looked up to give the stink eye a couple of times!
LOL, maybe I'm part tortie too because telling me to do something is a sure way to get me to NOT do it.
Very kind of you to let your mom off the hook. I would hate to see her stressed out more than she has to be
Mom once woke Ellie up from a nap to do a video.....really Mom????????????????
The Florida Furkids
Isabella, we completely understand. Your mom has to do her stuffs and you girls will just transport over to our houses and play with us. xxoo Case solved.
Yup. That's the Stink Eye alright!
You are the most laid back cat I know Isabella. Yes you are and your very beautiful too.
We know mom is very busy this time of year so we'll wait patiently for her to post when she can.
Have a purrfect Tortie Tuesday. ♥♥♥
haha, too funny! Sammy does the same :)
You and Angel should teleport right over for my birthday pawty and we could all play together (Mommy is going to bed so she won't bug us with the flashy box)!

Once the camera comes out the kitties all play dead...Yeah we know! Mommy has to find another line of work...

Isabella, you are hysterical. All the cats here must have gone to the same school that you did as to how stop moving the minute the camera comes out.
Hope all of you have a great day.
haha - we likes to turn upside down and stick noses in the camera!
=<,o,>=
Ha.Ha. Isabella, were you playing possum? Glad to hear you're going to be nice to Mommy during tax season. That's a REALLY stressful time!
Isabella, you're right...it's just not Tortie kitties that do that. And the other thing we do is when the mom gets the camera out and points it at us, we turn our heads away so she can't get a good shot. Haha! We love to frustrate the humans.
Oh, yeah. We Sibes are TOTALLY with you on this!
Play bows,
Zim
Even though all kitties are pretty good at non-compliance, I think we torties and calicos take it to a whole new level. One day the humans will figure out who's really in charge. Good job showing your human that playtime has to be on your terms!

Cats will be cats.
Way to go Isabella and to show your mom who is the boss at your house. We'll look forward to seeing what you are doing whenever your mom has the time. It is not good to let our humans get too stressed. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

I saw your tail moving, I know you were just waiting to pounce on that fun crinkly paper!
Tell your mommy we totally understand a missed post here and there...she deserves days off!
I bet if your mom played with you with a stick under that paper you would move more. Just sayin'.
