Group Effort

Things are crazy around here, well, actually it's just Mommy.  She blames it on having a late Thanksgiving resulting in less time to get everything done before Christmas.  Yeah, whatever.  Christmas comes on the same day every single year so you'd think she'd figure that out.  Did you notice we had two Wordless Wednesdays yesterday?  I tell ya.  If she didn't treat us like royalty we'd be accepting applications about now.  Anyway, Mommy had to wrap some presents so my sisfur and I pitched in since we knew she couldn't do it by herself.  Isabella tied little knots on the ends of the sweatshirt strings...
And I checked that they were secure...
Then gently tucked them in the box...
I also held the paper down while she wrapped the presents...
Then I used my lasers to keep track of the packages until they were ready to be delivered...
We're hoping things calm down soon since having to help Mommy so much is really cutting into our naptime.  Okay, just my naptime since Isabella's naps are just as long as always.  Hope Mommy appreciates my sacrifices!

Are things hectic at your house too or just ours?

Hope you have an enjoyable day!
Angel

You girls are so helpful! Considering that my human has practically no family, her boyfriend is out of town until Monday and we are not decorating for Christmas, it is pretty much the status quo around here, which is crazy enough!

Around here it's not hectic but there sure is a lot of procrastinating going on.
You were very helpful with those gifts. Maybe you could come here and motivate me into getting things done :)

You girls are so helpful! We aren't sure we like our Mommy's kind of "hectic" because it involves her having to look after strange kitties AND going to people's houses to look after their kitties and dogs. We much rather her hectic be all about us.

Wow, you two really are awesome assistants. Well, actually, you run the show--we know this. Your mom wouldn't function without you, that's obvious.

For us, it's pretty quiet at home, it was much busier all of November and earlier in December. Our human's work is sliding down the litter box right now, she says, though.

There is so much wrapping paper and boxes and tinsel around here that I can't find the litter box!
Christmas has over flowed into the bathroom!
Yikes!

You two help mom so very much. Yes you do and we all enjoy hearing about it too.

It's hectic at almost everyone's house. There is so much to do and it seems we wait until the last minute to get things done. It's probably the same everywhere.

Have a purrfect day filled with naps. My best to your mom. ♥♥♥

It's a good thing your mom has both of you helping her. Otherwise, she'd get nothing done!

We are no longer allowed to help with Christmas wrappings. Mom says with eight of us, not one piece of tape remains unfurred, ribbon unchewed, paper unslashed and gift undrooled upon. She doesn't seem to understand that we are just helping! Meowy Catmess! MOL, HO, HO, HO! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth & Calista Jo

Oliver likes to help with presents, too! He walks on the paper to show me where to cut it. He lays on it to hold it in place. He inspects and tests all the ribbons. Kitties are such tireless workers!

I've always said that American women must mutiny!! They need to insist on changing the date for Thanksgiving to the same as our Canadian Thanksgiving ..in October. That way there is plenty of time to organize for Christmas...and everybody is happy to do another turkey by then ... a month apart is just too silly for women to have to bother with ...and we know it is mostly the women who are doing most of it....or ... all of it.....

Down with November Thanksgiving!! Hurray for one in October ....
