Amazing? Well, At Least We Are!

Mommy said we had to review a product so we've got pretty high hopes about this thing if the box is telling us we'll be amazed...
It's amazing AND light?  It must be a box of feathers!
Uh, I don't think it's a box of feathers Angel...
Kitty litter?  This is supposed to amaze us?
It's the new Tidy Cats Lightweight clumping kitty litter.  It's "All the Strength, Half the Weight" with long lasting odor control both are what got Mommy's attention.  She doesn't like lugging kitty litter around and also, our facilities are in a walk in closet in her office so she prefers it to stay smelling nice.
Hey, did you just tell everybuddy that we stink?
Anyway, there's two boxes in our facilities and one has this new litter and the other has the old stuff.  One of us uses both boxes and one of us uses just the old stuff.  Mommy likes that it's lightweight but it smells perfumy to her which she worries about us breathing it in.  So, we give this mixed reviews in our house but it is worth a try if your humans struggle with heavy litter.  This big container only weighs 8.5 lbs...
As for odor control, it seems to work for that but of course we don't stink.
Alright little girl, let's see just how strong you really are!
Have you tried this litter before?  What did you think?  Are you picky about what is used in your facilities?  We are and have refused to use anything 'natural' which is of course what Mommy wants us to use.  Having a 50% use rate with this litter really surprised her but we're unpredictable - we're cats for Cod's sake!

Hope you have a fresh smelling day!
Angel and Isabella

Disclaimer:  Tidy Cats provided us with the new Lightweight kitty litter for free but this did not influence our review of this product in any way.   We have nature to thank for that and you'll just have to trust that we gave our honest opinion because we did not allow any photographic evidence to be taken.

We only use corn litter (and we've tried a bunch!), and I'm not sure what the new Tidy Cat litter is made of (my human is anti-clay), so we haven't had the opportunity to try it.

years ago when we had a cat in the house, he didn't mind what kind of litter we used so long as the box was kept clean.

What Ann said. It appears that there have been many changes in cat litter over the years. Wasn't too many choices back in the day.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your mom. ☺

Mom bought some of that the other day but hasn't tried it yet.

We refuse to use the natural stuff too! Except for the dirt outside (The Baby).

Mommy is on a quest for a dust free litter, the weight doesn't matter much because DADDY has to do the heavy lifting.

We tried it but thought it was a bit stinky and the cats really preferred their old litter

Mommy and I detest scented litter. Seems as though one could have a litter that wasn't heavily perfumed and still keep the ammonia down.

Momma also detests the huge clouds of dust when its poured. Seems they could do much better about that too.

Momma has bought Precious Cat litter but it will tend to smell rather musty after a few days despite cleaning the box out each day. I have to have a closed/hooded box because I never learned to squat so my Pee flies wherever it wants to. Hence the hooded box.

We are all on the recycled newspaper pellets. It's very economical with good odor control but only if used with the right type of litter box. Our litter boxes have 2 sections, the one with holes at the bottom that sits on the solid basin so that the urine goes straight down to the solid basin.
Mommy tried changing our litter to pine and Ling showed her disgust by peeing on Whisky's bed.

That litter sounds terrific if it doesn't weigh very much. We might have to give that a try. We use a lot of kitty litter around here. Thanks for the great review.

My 2 kitties will use anything we put in the box but we humans don't like scented kitty litter...

I wonder if mixing the new littler into the old slowly over time would work.
(I don't think I would like scented litter.)
And (most importantly!) I know you two lovely kitties don't stink!!

We haven't tried this new litter yet, but we used to use the old Tidy Cat until the mom found that it was just too dusty. Now we use Precious Cat from Dr. Elsy.

We think you two are sweet smelling kitties and we can't help you with this product, but we trust your review!! xo Chloe and LadyBug

I have tested the ordinary Tidy Cats litter and I think it's OK!
Haven't tryed this new lightweight litter. I'm not picky about wich brand it is on my litter as long I can digg deep and it's the clumping kind.
XOXO

I haven't tried this kind yet, but I do use the regular Tidy Cats litter, and her box is in my office and it does a great job. I love that it doesn't really have a scent, because I would rather not be reminded the box is even in here... so I say the tidy cat's brand is one worth trying. It's also always on sale at Safeway, and if you throw a coupon on top of that (and a doubler if you have one) it's really really affordable.
