Tidy Cats Coupon Giveaway!

We're going to kick off 2014 with a giveaway!  Last November we got an email from the Tidy Cat folks saying if we sent our blog logo by the next morning we'd get custom coupons.  Mommy was in Disneyland at the time but thankfully after a few panicked moments she was able to figure out what to send.  A couple of weeks ago, we were totally surprised by what we got in return.  Our logo is on the coupon!  How cool is that!

We got 150 custom coupons good for $5 off a package of Tidy Cats any size, any variety (excluding the 24/7 Performance LightWeight Litter).  That still leaves lots of litters to choose from...

We got an idea from our friend Sparkle on how to give these away so following her lead this is what we're going to do.  We'll give 10 readers each a stack of 10 coupons (a $50 value)!  The remaining 50 coupons will be given to a local cat rescue!

Here's how to enter:

1) Tell us in the comments you'd like to enter (or enter for someone else).  The coupons are only good here in the U.S. (sorry!) but our international friends can enter on behalf of a U.S. resident if you'd like.
2) Tell us the name of your favorite cat rescue.  You can do this even if you do not wish to be entered in the drawing yourself.

That's it!  Easy peasy and a great way to save money on, uh, our facilities plus a great way to help a cat rescue!  We'll randomly pick the winners Sunday, January 5th.

Amazing? Well, At Least We Are!

Mommy said we had to review a product so we've got pretty high hopes about this thing if the box is telling us we'll be amazed...

It's amazing AND light?  It must be a box of feathers!

Kitty litter?  This is supposed to amaze us?

It's the new Tidy Cats Lightweight clumping kitty litter.  It's "All the Strength, Half the Weight" with long lasting odor control both are what got Mommy's attention.  She doesn't like lugging kitty litter around and also, our facilities are in a walk in closet in her office so she prefers it to stay smelling nice.

Anyway, there's two boxes in our facilities and one has this new litter and the other has the old stuff.  One of us uses both boxes and one of us uses just the old stuff.  Mommy likes that it's lightweight but it smells perfumy to her which she worries about us breathing it in.  So, we give this mixed reviews in our house but it is worth a try if your humans struggle with heavy litter.  This big container only weighs 8.5 lbs...

As for odor control, it seems to work for that but of course we don't stink.

Alright little girl, let's see just how strong you really are!

Have you tried this litter before?  What did you think?  Are you picky about what is used in your facilities?  We are and have refused to use anything 'natural' which is of course what Mommy wants us to use.  Having a 50% use rate with this litter really surprised her but we're unpredictable - we're cats for Cod's sake!
