It's Tortie Tuesday and after the holiday weekend, we're resting up around here so I thought I'd show you a new hammick type bed we have to rest up on. 
Mommy and Daddy made it for us! Daddy made the frame nice and big in case my sisfur decides to cuddle up on it with me. Mommy put the fabric on so it's nice and soft for us too. 
Mommy doesn't sew so she tried to put the fabric on with heat activated velcro. Well, after melting the fabric onto the iron she turned the heat down but it wasn't hot enough to make the velcro stick so when we first got on it we fell to the floor. So she stayed up really late one night hand sewing the fabric around the frame so we can sleep on it. I sleep on it a lot now since she put so much work into it.
Now if only I could get the pawpawrazzi to leave me alone it'd be purrfect!

Well Isabella I guess you have someone over there that loves you very much. Looks like a wonderful place to take a nap. You can stretch out good and just relax.

Wow, we wish our Mom had even a little bit of your Mom's talent, Isabella! The only thing our Mom can make is breakfast!
Isabella, you are a beautiful model! That looks like such a nice bed - and how nice of your humans to make it for you. The fabric looks so soft, and the color is purrfect for you.
P.S. Our mom says she has problems with iron-on stuff too - she uses iron-on patches on our dad's pants but always sews over it to make it stick!

What a great Mommy you have to work that hard on the hammock. I had to laugh at the iron deal. That is something our Mom would do in a skinny minute. Our Mom probably couldn't have gotten it sewn up either so good job. It looks so comfy too.

sorry but I laughed so hard at the imagery of poor Isabella falling to the floor. I do not like those sticky things--I don't think they work. And kudos to you for HAND sewing!

Your hammock is divine! Your Mommy and Daddy are very special! Good thing Mommy learned to sew...I would have tried the Velcro or glue first as well, coz I hate sewing too!

Great new beddie! the frame looks like it is made with the kind of corners that Dad wants to use for making me an enclosure better than my Funhouse. Can we email your Daddy for more information about where he got the supplies?
