We're So Over the Hots...

The hots returned yesterday with the temperatures hovering around 100 degrees. For our international friends, that's like living in a furnace! It's so hot, I melted into the cool quartz countertop...

Isabella melted into the floor...

She looks pretty comfy though so she may stay there until fall...

Or at least until supper time.

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a great weekend! Even though we had the hots, I enjoyed a sunpuddle...

Angel enjoyed the sunlight too until Mommy made her move. Something about direct sun, too hot, blah, blah, blah. Mommy's a spoilsport...

After we had some thunder yesterday and Angel hid somewhere that Mommy couldn't find her, we're not looking forward to this coming week. Fireworks don't scare me but they terrify Angel. The neighbor kid shot off lots of fireworks last year so Mommy is preparing for this year in case he does it again. Angel can hear fireworks (and delivery trucks) from miles away so there's nothing that can drown out the booms from next door. The only thing Mommy knows to use is Rescue Remedy which helps some. Do you have any other suggestions to help make this a less stressful week for Angel (and Mommy)?

Finally Friday

We're glad it's Friday although we're in the midst of the really hots. How hot is it you ask? It's so hot that I have to air out my Tortie tummy...
