Working Weekend

Our sisfur Sadie was the resident model of most things around here so now the task has fallen on my sisfur Isabella and me.  Unfortunately Isabella sleeps contemplates new ideas so much that I'm the one Mommy comes to for modeling.  She wanted me to model a journal but I made her come to my turf - the cat tree - but then I got distracted by the Birdie Network...

Of course when you watch TV you think of snacks...

For some reason she wasn't pleased with my modeling but I bet it doesn't stop her from trying again!

PeeS:  Our friend Erika from ArtfulRising has been graciously helping Mommy make journals for her shop but recently Mommy got all the equipment to make journals herself so she made this one all by herself with tons of help from Daddy!  We are very grateful to Erika for all her help (and to Daddy for his help too)!  We aren't allowed to help make journals since it involves sharp objects and paper that isn't supposed to be wrinkled or laid on.  Have you ever heard of such paper? Yeah, we didn't think so.

A Cat, a Dog, a Deal & a Smile

Many of you already know that Mommy has teamed up with Erika from Artful Rising to make journals. Since it's tax season and Mommy has zero extra time, we're very grateful for Erika since she is actually making the journals while Mommy helps with ideas. Erika sent us a journal with one of Mommy's quotes...
The journal is just the right size for her to keep handy so she can write down when we need more treats... I don't know why my kitty sisfurs think everything is about them because everybuddy knows I make her smile more but I had influence on this journal too... Let me open it up and show you... See... I'm sure it was my cute paws that inspired them to offer optional lined paper with little pawprints on the bottom. Pretty cute huh? This special paper can be added to any of the journals in Mommy's shop for just $2. And, starting today, Mommy is offering a "Journal of the Week" in her shop for 25% off! This cat one is the journal of the week this week...
I wasn't consulted this week but next week I'll be sure to have my say!

Weekend Wrap-up..

In addition to relaxing yesterday, we helped Mommy with a very important project. Our friend Erika from Artful Rising has asked for help making cards for her to take to the Ronald McDonald House in Waco, TX to be used by the families staying there. Well, Mommy volunteered to make cards and then realized she had no idea how to do that so we decided to help her... I inspected the first few cards to make sure she followed my directions... Once I knew she was doing okay, I held down a bag of paper and watched Birdie TV...
Isabella held down the paper in the plastic thing-a-ma-jig...
She kept getting distracted by Birdie TV too...
But she kept an eye on the task at hand too...
You're not going to put that color with that paper are you Mommy?
Oh I can't look...
Mommy's cards may not be perfect but they are going to a great cause!
