Checking In

Well, our mommy and daddy are back from Maui but they're not quite functional yet. Something about three hours time difference and a white floofy alarm clock going off at o'dark thirty. Whatever. Anyway, we did take a peek at what they did on their trip and most of their photos are of them which they won't sign a waiver for us to show so here's the sunset outside their condo...
Of course there's beach photos...
And even a feral kitty from a stop halfway to Hana...
They had a really nice anniversary trip and enjoyed everything about it but they did discover some things about they car they drove...
1. They're too old to get in and out of it.
2. The trunk is tiny.
3. The back seat is even tinier.
4. They need the A/C on even when the top was down.
5. Black leather seats get really hot when the top is down burning somemommy's booty! MOL!

Anyway, we'll still be posting every so often this month so please be patient with us!

What's been going on in your neck of the woods?

Happy Monday!

With a sunset and scenery like that, I would never want to come home. I like the vehicle I drive now because it's much easier to get in and out of. Those low to the ground cars are nice to look at but boy are they hard to get in and out of.

That first photo is absolutely stunning. The kind that could be a winner in a contest or sent to the tourism board or something. Wow!

We're glad you had a fabulous trip, hot car seats, etc. notwithstanding! :-D

Ah, always be careful what you wish for - spiffy sports car? Comes a time when comfy is more important than spiffy - sometimes the humans aren't so practical. The photos are lovely...

That is funny about the car, I am finding it harder to get in and out of some too :) Beautiful photos- I want that stray.

SUCH beautiful photos!
The first discovery your peeps made about the Mustang may well be why our mom traded in her Celica.
We're glad they're back home safe and sound!

I'm glad you had a great anniversary. That's the way to do it.

I had to laugh about the car. I'm with you. You saw what we were in when we visited you. That's about all I can do anymore.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to the girls and a hug for you and J. ♥

It looks like your humans had a really great time on their anniversary trip! My human had never been that interested in visiting Hawaii, but after seeing the photos here and on Facebook, she's way tempted to go now!

I miss those Maui sunsets. So pretty! I do not, however, miss the constant wind...so the convertible would not have been an option for me.

My doggie sister, whom I never met, was named after the Road to Hana. And I was eyeing the car your parents rented. Of course they chose an animal car! :-) Such a pretty view that your parents had from the condo. I hope they get to go on another fun vacation again soon!

Happy Anniversary to your humans. What gorgeous photos. Mom and Dad have never been to Hawaii. It looks gorgeous. Our mom wants a Mustang, but if your mom and dad are too old, she is REALLY too old for one. I am not a fan of Mustangs or convertibles! My mom loves her convertible, but the roof really eats your trunk and those leather seats get scorching!
