We're still in the midst of a remodel but yesterday Mommy decided to leave the door open to the bedroom/new home office since the noisy stranger wasn't being too noisy and she was at her wit's end (whatever that means) with me being locked in with her. Anyway, it turned out that I was right, the door can be open and everything is okay. I stayed in the room with her but kept an eye on what he was doing. After awhile I just sat on the chair beside her and watched birdies...
After Isabella woke up several hours later, we went downstairs and laid on our perch in the front window and enjoyed sunpuddles. Mommy kept checking on us since she's such a worry wart. All in all it was a much better day for everyone!
Rumor has it today the cabinet maker guy will be coming so I bet I'll be locked in again but I'm hoping the door remains open as often as possible since I seriously hate it closed.
Hope you're having a wonderful day!

Glad to hear it's less noisy now and you're adjusting, Angel! Hope everything goes smoothly today :)
What an imposition this has been for you, Angel! (And I guess Isabella too, although she doesn't seem to care.) Our last house, it seemed like we had workers constantly - but we all liked to watch them. Even Boodie, from a distance.
I bet you'll all be happy when this is all over but at least you had a better day
That picture of you on the chair in the dark room is gorgeous! It is very tough on cats when they are blocked off from their own territory, but mom is just trying to keep you safe.
The noise probably isn't as bad as having the door closed, right? Is Mommeh afraid of you running out the door with the workers there?
That's great that your mommy finally left the door open. I knew you two would be good girls while the noisy men were there :)
You sure are giving those birdies a serious look! I'm glad that you're able to have the door open now...closed doors are No Good! I've still got my paws crossed that it's all over soon though.
Purrs!
I have been at my wit's end Angel. You don't want to go there....
waddya meen ya watched burds???!!
Mommy had a better day yesterday too. I'm guessing the door will be open more than closed. Good for all of you.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your wonderful mom. :)
Gorgeous photo - Perhaps Mommy is afraid you might decide to inspect the remodel and get hurt somehow - kitties hate closed doors...
Oh bless you all you wanted was the door open. We are having lots of remodelling done here too and we keep saying how much Jasper would have hated all the comings and going and shut doors. I must say that photo of you is stunning x
I hope it's over soon, Angel! In the meantime, I have to say - you look awesome on that cushy chair! Very wild!
Cammie!
Angel, that all sounds so much better for you. Love the photo of you looking out the window. Your eyes are amazing. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Kudos to your Mom for figuring out it would be OK to leave the door open. And Angel, good job - you handled it so well.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
I would be at my wit's end locked in a room with my boys while I was trying to work all day, too. It's a tough issue for kitties to understand. I'm glad that today has been better for everyone.
Angel you look so picturesque in that photo! Beautiful!
Kisses on the nose for you!

Angel, we hope the remodel is over soon so things can get back to the way you like it.
Poor Mommies...sometimes I think they just try too hard... but, now all will be well... doors open and you can hide if you want ...or not.... next thing she knows you will be hanging out helping pass nails or something... who knew? ....
I'm glad it worked out with the door open! You must be claustrophobic Angel! Have a happy Friday! Love, Moon xoxo
