Working Weekend

The plumber finally showed up on Friday so the litterbox remodel is thisclose to being done with just a couple minor things to finish yet.  Since the remodel is about over, Mommy made us work on other projects she has like picking paint for the now polka dotted guest bedroom...

I have no idea why it's so hard for her to pick out a color but you'd think with eight samples something would've been right...

She's trying to get something to go with the new bedspread but it's proving to be a very difficult task with the samples looking nothing like the paint cards...

The last samples are way too light and almost look white which won't work. Don't you agree Angel?

I think white is purrfect...

There'll be plenty of white fur on the bed so we don't want white on the walls!  Guess we'll have to pick sample number nine!

Hope your decisions today include which sunpuddle to nap in!

Very nice selection. We like white, too. The walls should be a darker color because of the white. You are a cool cat with a gift for design!

Silly humans! Bedspreads come and go, but kitties are forever - so the paint should match you!

Good luck with picking the paint oclour. It took our human 15 months to make a decision re: her bedroom paint, but she got it done. With OUR help, of course.

O - those pictures of Angel made me laugh -

I love it when the cats help. Ugh. Just pick a color and go with it. You can always repaint if you don't like it. I've been known to paint twice in a weekend.

Paints usually end up lighter on the walls than on the paint chart! I'd go with nr. 4 :)
Angel, you look adorable peeking out from inside the bedspread!

A bright, sunny yellow would go quite well with that brown. So would a an icy blue.

But we all know I'm not subtle when it comes to color ;)

Figuring out paint colors is a hard task -- so glad you kitties are such a big help to mommy!

Oh, the Momster sympathizes with your Mom - paint color selection is so hard since those darn cards never look like the real thing. Mom and Dad had to buy so many samples when they were getting ready to have the outside of the house painted. And then the color can look one way on one wall and different on another, depending on the lightning. Hope Mom has better luck with her next choices.

Well, at least things are getting done. That's a good thing and then you two can rest during the day instead of workers being in the house.

I know your mom will have the right color for those walls at some point. I've not doubt.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your wonderful mom. :)

Mom says picking out paint is super hard since you're only seeing a little bit.

Thank you so much for your kind words about Auntie El's passing. We're sorry it's taken so long to reply but Mom is having a hard time. It's comforting to have the support of the Cat Blogosphere at this sad time. Auntie El loved all of the fun pieces that our Mom bought for her from your Mom. Even though you didn't know her personally, you made her smile.

MOL, love Angel's tail sticking out of the bedspread. Nice of you girls to help Mommy pick out the right colors. You girls are just the best. Take care.

You girls are so adorable!

Cuddling up in the new bedspread looks like the best plan. Paint color selection is a huge challenge. You all should just hunker down until the project is over. I bet you'll be happy when that remodel is finally finished. I have a hard time picking out paint colors too but then I finally decided to paint everything in my house one color, antique white,

Oh gurls, I feel your mom's pain. Them danm samples in our case turned out to be spot on but sadly when we looked at the WHOLE WALL in that color we didn't like it near as much as that little spot! LOL.

Good luck
and be brave!

Mommy says that taupe is such a hard color to match! We say go with one dark wall for an accent to show up your furs.

I fink Isabella tortie is the best painted look. Simple. Just 5 or 6 colors painted on in a pattern...xoxoxox

I like the light brown shade at the bottom of the first picture. It's warm and I think it would look nice with purple/plum shades, and even golden tones... xo

DancingMooney said...

or should I say... the light brown shade right above Isabella's head, in the first picture. (I wasn't sure if that was a shadow down below her on the wall or another paint color. LOL) ;)

I think Angel approves! Is there room for me in that snuggly comforter too? I bet it will look great no matter which color you pick! Love, Moon xoxo

The mom says picking paint colors is the hardest thing. Do they make tortie colored paint, Isabella? That's what color those walls should be. :)

Paint colors are hard to pick out. You want to make sure you love it as painting is a lot of work and you don't want to have to keep doing it that is for sure!!
