Tortie Tuesday

It may be Tortie Tuesday but our thoughts and purrayers are with those affected by the devastating tornadoes in Moore, OK and surrounding areas.

We also send purrayers and strength to the first responders and those helping in the rescue effort.  Mother Nature may have shown her ugly side but there are many showing much caring and compassion and we are grateful for them.

If you are aware of any organizations helping people and/or animals in OK, please let us know in the comments for those who wish to send donations.

Stay safe and hug those you love this Tortie Tuesday,
Isabella

Isabella, it's so great of you to think of others on your special Tortie day :)
I'm not sure of specific organizations, but the Red Cross is always a good place to make donations.

It was way too sad. WE feel so badly for all those people that lost their homes etc. Cheryl Lincoln on Facebook had a number to text to donate $10.00. It is probably on her page. Take care.

Yet another tragedy and loss of life. It is especially sad again as so many children lost their lives. When we first saw the disaster on TV, a newscaster talked to a pet rescue facility person who was very close to the tornado but not damaged. They already had people out looking for the animals. We pray that they had great success. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
