We're pretty much always happy and lovey dovey around here but we thought we'd show you what happens when someTortie turns crazypants. She gets on a higher level and tries to be intimidating...
Before any paws can be smacked, Mommy always breaks it up. She's such a spoil sport! She worries that somekitty will get hurt or someTortie will fall off the cat tree because she is missing the graceful kitty gene. Whatever the reason, we very rarely do smacky paws where we actually smack anything. At least not when Mommy's around!
We hope you have a happy non-smacky day!

My human lets us all smack each other silly! Well, sometimes she yells if Binga beats up on Boodie TOO much. But otherwise she lets us do what we want. Nobody ever gets hurt.
Our mom doesn't usually interfere when we go into smackdown mode either. It's just fun sometimes and neither of us gets hurt either. She might just yell a bit at whoever is the aggressor.
Oh boy! Time for a nap in a sun puddle!
Safety first ~ that's what I always say.
Happy Monday kitties!

I feel the same way you do Sharla :)
Just this morning I had to stop Sammy and Leo doing the smacky paw thing!!
We don't get the smacky-paws thing around here much - we do have the 'stare and hiss' thing a lot tho...
Things get a bit crazy around here sometimes too. It's usually Sherpa and Harry but once in a blue moon Stinky will get a wild hair.
Wish I had somekitty to smacky paw with.... but they're all on the other side of that see-through thing...

A little sibling rivalry :) Gotta have fun sometime, right!
We have a smacky paw living at our house too! I think it looks like someone wanted to be Top Cat on the top shelf!
I'm guessing there are lots of smacky paws when mom isn't looking. I'm sure of it. Nice captures.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your mom. :)
We let the kittens play fight all the time, but we do break it up when things get really violent. Sometimes it's tough for kitties to know how much is too much.
Secret Smacks!
Um, that sounds sorta weird...
Posey is not very graceful either, I wonder if it's a Tortie gene? LOL
moms just don't understand the fun of smacky paw.
Angel and Isabella, Two Two and I (Mahoney) were doing that very same thing just yesterday. Glad it didn't end up in a bad smacky paw. Hope all of you have a great day.
Angel, maybe you need to get those workers at your place build a parallel condo next to that high spot so you two can be on level territory:)

Smacky paws can be exchanged in the night night time when Mommy isn't looking...ya know what I mean? Hehehehe. MOL
Well, its normal to have a little sibling rivalry every now and then!
We have plenty smacky paws and bitey neck around here, and we always do it far enough from Mom so that she can't get to us in time to nip it in the bud. Did somebody say nip. We didn't know there's nip. Excuse us please, we need nip. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
Mama doesn't like us to have smacky paws cause she said too much of our fur flies around everywhere. We like your cat tree.

We do more than smacky paws sometimes...but the mom never lets it get too out of hand.

Isn't Smacky Paw a fun game?!
No fun that your mommy breaks it up.
OK. OK. She does it for safety reasons. Moms are like that you know.
Angel...we would SO love to play with you on that kitty tree!! Even Daddy said we are more like cats today!! We told him...THAT's what Angel always says!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
Tee hee. Somehow "mayhem" and Isabella just didn't seem likely. :p
