As Isabella mentioned last week, all Tortie orange spot colored carpet was removed from the Mancave. It's about time! Sadie and I made sure every speck of that carpet was gone...
I don't see anything other than a really, ugly, icky subfloor. Do you see anything Angel?
Nope, I don't see any Tortie spot colored carpet back here either Sadie! 
Those two are just jealous! There may not be any Tortie spot colored carpet in here anymore but there is something better - ME! 
We have to wait on some rugs to arrive before we can use the Mancave and Sadie's room (yes, she has her own room) because Sadie has a hard time walking on the new floors. Her feets slide around like she's on ice! MOL! So since she can't walk on it and she is Mommy's shadow, we all stay upstairs so Sadie doesn't get hurt. Mommy's a worry wart.

Those floors look awesome! I remember the old house, when we had hardwood floors installed, it took a while for the dog to get used to them. We kitties loved to slide on them as we raced around, but she did not think that was fun at all!

That floor looks fantastic! Oh, but the mom says taking up old carpet and pulling up all the tacks and staples is awful--she's done it enough! Worth it in the end, though!

And Isabella, you should try CAT DRIFT , It's so fun ! Especially on the corner , Floor Board is the best to do DRIFT..You must try !!!

Great floor. I am sure Sadie will adapt. My little one still slides around in the kitchen every once in awhile. Especially after it is first waxed.
Oh, the floor is beautiful!!! You are going to love that down in the mancave! Poor Sadie--those wood floors are tough on dog friends. :(

That's beautiful! We sometimes slide on the terrazo floor downstairs and the parquet floors upstairs but we're getting pretty good at using it to our advantage. :)

Angel, what an important job done so well! with Sadie's help, of course! No more tortie-ness! Except for Ms. Tortie-ness herself! (And I must say, she models the new room so well! It looks great!)
Wow! What a difference! It looks terrific! I know what you mean about the floors being slippery. It took a while for the cats to get used to it and they still go sliding every now and then :-)
That floor is beautiful. I wonder how it would work for hooves?

oh it looks great. I won't show this to Wade since our mancave project still isn't finished. We have a few throw rugs in our living room and when Duke runs through rug and Duke both go sliding.

WOW, nice floors! I'm sure your new rugs will help you guys walk safely, I know Arwen took some time to get used to our wood floors. Even now that she's scratched most of them, she still slips a bit (which is kind of funny, but don't tell her I laugh sometimes).

The difference is amazing and I bet everyone is enjoying the new "views". Just think Bella, now you have center stage with your beautifurl tortie colors! Have fun running and sliding across your new floors on the new area rugs, some of the furbabies around here have discovered how far they can go w/o walking. And, one see's things under them everyday!
