I recently bought Cali a new bowl for her water. Today, I see her licking the empty plastic butter container I was using when the last one was thrown out completing ignoring the pretty bowl with fresh water.

We are very impressed! Your mom and dad are very smart to understand who is really in charge around there.
That is TOO true! They have the final say, because if they don't get their way, they have the awesome power of coming into your bedroom at 4 in the morning and bouncing all over :-)
