Our weekend was a rainy one but the rain makes the birdies very active which makes for great Birdie TV...

We hope you were able to take us up on our Sadieday challenge to make the weekend a better one by doing something that made your heart happy in honor of our angel sisfur Sadie's birthday.  Our daddy took foods and treats to the shelter while Mommy waited in the car.  She can't handle going in since it makes her sad that she can't bring all the animals home but at least we know they have plenty of food and treats...

If you took the challenge, let us know what you did so we can smile too!  We can all use extra smiles these days!

We hope you have a great week!

PeeS:  This whole post was done on Mommy's phone because our power went out in the middle of putting it together.  We're crossing our paws that it works!

I feel just the same whenever I visit the shelter - if I could, I'd take ALL the kitties and doggies home with me...
It is rainy here too. We stayed indoors and I made a few more heart ornaments which always make me smile!

Birdie TV is always good!
I gave out extra tips to the waitress, hair dresser and nail tech this weekend :) I hope Sadie is proud of me :)

Phone blogging. That is impressive.

I baked all weekend for our food bank's bake sale today. They are getting white and wheat challah rolls and breads and 8 dozen croissants.

Anytime we can help a pal who has a pet problem, it makes us smile. A friend who recently got a kitty had a question about some missing fur. We posted the kitty's picture on FB, and lots of cat friends weighed in on what they problem might be. The kitty will be going to the vet soon, and that makes us smile knowing we helped!

I haven't done it yet, but I've not gone anywhere either. I did donate to a bunch of babies (dog and lots of cats) this month, but did it before this past weekend. I'll do something and let you know.

Have a puffect day. My best to your mom. :)

Why does the rain make the birds busier? It's a little rainy here today and Miss Frankie is going crazy running from window to window...BIRDS!

what a nice thing for your mom and dad to do. Too bad about the power going out, good thing you don't need it to watch the birdie channel

What a fabulous way to help out the animals at the shelter. Mommy and Daddy are good people. What a nice thing to do in memory of Sadie. This year, our family donated some money to the homeless shelter, but the one for people in the big city.

Awww, that was so nice of you to go there with treats. I'm surprised you didn't go in and bring somebody home for Christmas! Oh well....that time will come another day.

We watched a lot of Bird TV this weekend too!

And the mom says she is impressed that your mom did this post on her phone. Our mom can't even do ours on her iPad let alone phone.
