Taking It Easy - Finally

What an exhausting week!  We've been cleaning, napping, snoopervising, napping, inspecting, napping, and so on.  Mommy didn't get all the painting done but she got most of it done.  She booted us out of the room otherwise it would've all been done of course.  It doesn't smell fumey for our visitor that's coming today either.  Anyway, after such a hectic week, we're taking it easy today.  I'm in our cat tree, I put my lasers on so you can see me...

After our crazy week, we're taking precautions to stay limber and are still getting our stretches in...

Cats are excellent multi-taskers aren't we?

Since Mommy is going to be busy with our visitor, we might not get the blog updated or comments done.  Good help is hard to find sometimes.

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday, the bestest day of the week!  I've noticed that it may appear that I don't do a whole lot around here except sleep but that's so not true.  I do lots of things in the two hours I'm up every day!  For instance, I start the day playing with my nip jelly bean...

Then I check out the stamina of the couch cushions...

I help Mommy tell time by the length of my shadow...

I also help her with tax returns.  The tax code is enough to turn me upside down...

Somedays, if I'm not too exhausted from the long day, I even model.  This is my hey, there's birdies serious profile look...

So you see, I'm a really hard worker even though it's mainly behind the scenes.  Now you know why I have to sleep 22 hours a day!

PeeS:  We must take a moment to say that our handsome Siberian friend, Thunder, went to the Bridge yesterday.  Our hearts are breaking for his family but we know that Sadie was there to welcome him.  If you'd like to paw a few words for his mom and dad, you can find their blog here.

It's Monday so time to go to work again...
I bet the clients would love to know who really prepares their tax returns!

Double Duty

Rather than take it easy this Sunday, we're working extra hard by doing two things at once. We're taking our nap and making sure Mommy has a day off by keeping her out of her office chair.

Hopefully all this hard work results in extra treats.
