Thanks to everybuddy for the purrs and crossed paws yesterday! I really appreciate it and know it'll help me get through whatever it is I've got to get through in the next few days. I'm going in at 6am this morning to get plenty of fluids in me before my 10am surgery today. My kidney enzymes are elevated so the fluids will help me during surgery. We don't know why my kidneys show problems but we're hoping it's only temporary and not something bad (which we don't even want to think about). The main concern is the tumor near my tummy but Mommy says I'm going to be okay because there's no other option. Anyway, it won't be long before I'm smiling on a stroll again like this...

Update 12:30pm: The vet just called and Sadie came through surgery just fine (Mommy releases her breath!) and she's already awake and walking around a little bit. The tumor is NOT cancer, the spot on her neck that caused all this had turned into a hot spot, whatever the heck that is, from her scratching but it's all gone now and her teeth are sparkly white. Her liver was not enlarged (a sign of Cushings disease) so that was good. Still no clue why her kidney enzymes are high so we'll just have to monitor it and hope it was a fluke. Mommy's going to sleep now since she hasn't in two days and will stay up tonight with Sadie to make sure she's okay. Sadie will be home in 4 hours.
