The noisy strangers finished the deck yesterday. It took longer than expected so we're very thankful to finally have peace and quiet restored during our hectic work days in the office...

My human's working on TWO projects that she needs to get a handle on before Labor Day weekend because she'll be spending most of her time at a vintage film festival! So I am going to be busy supervising.

We don't have any frosting in the plans, but I did get to taste a tomato today and I liked it very much. And I think we might be going birding this weekend, if Cam feels good!

Nothing exciting coming up around here. Same old same old. That's pretty exciting being off till Sept 5th
Those big projects always take longer than they predict. But as long as the final result is a good one, it's all OK.

We are spending the next couple of weeks relaxing after several WEEKS of company! We are really looking forward to cooler temps...today was 70 and it was PERFECT!! Love that pic of you two! Have fun with your grandma!

Well, I have been on a vacation (sort of) for the last month, but I am ready for summer to end. All the garden plants are looking a little weary and I'm tired of watering them.
The deck looks great from the photos I saw. I'm glad the project is over. I like having things done, but I don't like the mess or the noise.
Quiet is so nice! They've been pressure washing where we live and I am so looking forward to a break from the noise over the weekend. Hope you have a fun 'mini vacation' with family!
